Taylored Expressions April Sneak Peeks: Sketched Blooms, Various Vases

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the April Release Sneak Peek Release from Taylored Expressions!! Woohoooo!!!  There are a ton of new stamps and dies that are going to tickle your crafty senses in this release!! Today, I am sneaking peeks with two projects: here is my first project using the Sketched Blooms stamp set - which is filled with an array of beautiful sketched blooms that you can mix and match in any way that you would like - I decided to create a little garden scene with them and leave off any sentiment so that it can be for any occasion:

I used the Build A Scene dies (Swirly Clouds and Sunshine) along with creating clouds with the Cloud Border die and then stamped the flowers ontop and colored them in with copics. I finished it off with some grass with the Grass Border die and the Fence Border die:

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Sketched Blooms stamp set from Taylored Expressions
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black and copics
Taylored Expressions dies:  Picket Fence Border, Grass Border die, Build A Scene (Swirly Clouds and Sunshine dies), Cloud Border die
Accessories: button, twine, felt, foam dimensionals, glue dots and Best Glue Ever

For my second project, I used the absolutely darling vases from the Various Vases dies and added a bloom from the Silhouette Stems 4 die (love all these Silhouette Stems dies!). I love how fun it is to create a funky card by adding a little bit of the Spotted Circle cutting plate and then a few pearls, some buttons and bling and a bow using the new Mini Mix and Match Bows:

Here is a closer peek at the card - I love these darling flowers - I added a little pearl to the center and then scattered some pearls onto the card:

I love these awesome fun new Mix and Match Mini Bows - how cute - perfect little addition to a card - I die cut mine out and then added a bit of bling to the center:
Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Greetings for Her
Taylored Dies: Various Vases, Silhouette Stems 4, Spotted Cutting Plate and Mini Mix and Match Bows
Inks: Memento Rich Cocoa
Papers: Splendid Sunshine from Echo Park (6x6) and kraft and snow white choice DP
Accessories: buttons, twine, bling, small lace rinnbon, white gel pen, corner rounder, glue dots, pearl bling

Happy Birthday!

Hi Everyone!

Ever in a quick birthday card?! I know I am and I made a super quick one by using the Bake A Cake die from Taylored Expressions :) I die cut this cake with a few different DPs including choice cardstock (both Snow and Buttercream). I then assembled the cake by piecing the layers of different cardstocks together and then added a little glitter to the top part of the cake:

Here is a closer look at the cake - I wanted to keep the colors very neutral and to the color scheme of cream, white and pink. I found some lace ribbon and added it as a trim and then trimmed the card with some liquid pearls and then added some bling and little bit of ribbon to the cake stand:

Card Ingredients:
Papers: Taylored Expressions: Choice Snow White  and Choice Buttercream cardstock and kraft cardstock
Taylored Dies: Party Banner Border die, Bake Me A Cake die
Accessories: bling, MS glitter, liquid pearls, corner rounder, vintage lace, grosgrain ribbon (pink), foam dimensionals
I loved making this beautiful card and am so happy to be able to give it to my beautiful friend on her birthday!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Big hugs,

Sankari :)

For my project today, I was so excited to create a card using this fun spinner!! Reminds me of the days of playing twister at birthday parties as a child! I die cut the different parts of the spinner from the different papers in this KI kit and then pieced it together. The spinner is die cut as are the circles for the sentiment. What a fun range of possibilities there are in using this spinner!!!

Here is a close up shot: The hearts, flowers and star are all die cuts and then I put a little bling on their center for fun :) I added some twine, a little white sharpie and popped up the sentiment and spinner with some dimensionals:
Card Ingredients:Stamps: March Stamp of the Month from Taylored Expressions: Take a Spin
Papers: March Key Ingredients kit, Choice Snow White (TE)
Ink: Memento Love Letter
Accessories: Foam Dimensionals, twine, corner chomper, EK Success Scalloped punch, Spin It To Win It (coordinating dies for the March SOTM), white sharpie pen,red bling

I also added some white cardstock to the inside and then rounded the corners and added some scalloped edging to the bottom of the card - I had such fun creating this card! Can't wait to make more!
