Taylored Expressions - Pinterest Inspiration: Get Well Soon!
Hi Everyone!
One place that is always great to get inspiration is the Taylored Expressions Pinterest albums. This is such a great place to browse thru when you are starting to make a card and are needing inspiration. I like to make some tea and get comfy on the couch and browse thru pinterest - makes it such a cozy indulgent way to spend some quality "me" time :) And its so easy to get lost in all the beautiful cards and projects there!!
As I was perusing the gallery, I found this awesome card made the talented Tammie Edgerton!! I love how sweet and simple this layout is and all that white space and pops of color! So I used the same layout and instead of white space - I used some "black space" - and literally went with the space theme using the fun and fabulous Far Out stamp set. I love the beautiful use of paper flags hanging from the card on one side - so I did the same with some stashes of paper that was still on my desk :) and used some stickles for the stars:
Here is another angle of the card - I embossed the star ship and sentiment with Versamark and white embossing powder - I just absolutely LOVE how this turned out:

This sketch is so cool - it has such a fun minimalistic look to it that I had to try to go the CAS route. I thought I would try my attempt at a masculine clean and simple card as its been a long time since I have tried to make a "guy" card!
I have had these super cute scrabble pieces
Card Ingredients:
Papers: Toffee (TE), Cherry Pop (TE) DP from stash:
Accessories: Foam dimensional tape, Best Glue Ever, EK Success punch
Loved making this card - lease stop by the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge Blog and check out all the awesome creations from the SSSC team! And please join in on the fun and play along!!

Thank you!
Hi Everyone,
Here is a close up of the letters - I added some glitter to alternating letters for just a bit of sparkle and fun :) I also added some leaves with the Mini Leaves dies for a bit of accent:
Card Ingredients:
I wanted to make a CAS inspired thank you card for a dear friend who has gone above and beyond to help me thru a difficult time. I used only dies to create this card - no stamping! I used the Tall and Skinny Alpha dies from Taylored Expressions to create this card and added some die cut flowers using the Petal Pop Ups 2 dies from TE:

I seriously love this sketch - I mean its just so cool! So many possibilities with the tilty panel part of the sketch!
I used one of my favorite stamp sets from Verve stamps called Words of Wisdom. I just love all of these amazing sentiments - seriously inspiring! One of the sentiments that really called out to me today was "Triumph Over Fear" - so beautiful and so inspiring! I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder and then created layers with different DP:
Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Words of Wisdom from Verve stamps
Papers: Salt Water Taffy (TE), Oreo (TE)
Accessories: Foam dimensional tape, Best Glue Ever, EK Success punch, Stampendous White Detail embossing powder, heart punch, enamel dots and burlap ribbon
This card just speaks to me - I think it just reminds me to face my fears and not let them swallow me up... I think I am going to keep this on my desk to remind me of this everyday!
