Taylored Expressions Day 2 Sneak Peeks: Little Bits of Christmas and Sparkle and Cheer

Hi Everyone

Welcome to Day 2 of sneak peeks from the October Release from Taylored Expressions! Everything sneak peeked will be released on Thursday at 7am PST!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

For my first card today, I used the previously released stamp set called Sparkle and Cheer with the dies that coordinate with them that will be released on Thursday! I LOVE the ability to cut out all the intricate shapes in this stamp set - so much easier than handcutting (which I love!). For my card today I picked the beautiful dove with the snowflake on its belly and stamped and cut it out with the Sparkle and Cheer dies and then popped her ontop of the embossed sheet music from the Sheet Music Embossing Folder that will be released on Thursday.

Here is a closer peek at the card - I shaded the bird a little bit with copics and then added some stickles and then added some liquid pearls to the edges of the scallops and the circle:

If you are looking to mass produce a card for the holidays - I think this stamp set is perfect - along with the coordinating dies really makes it simple to cut and assemble cards for the holidays! For my second card, I created little fun bit of red and green using the new Gingerbread Lane paper collection from TE with the soon to be released stamp set called Little Bits of Christmas and the Little Bits Christmas Tree die :

The background of the card was created using the Sweater Weather Cutting Plate - which makes it not only simple - but so much fun to create a festive background for the cards!! I love that the stamp set has a banner image for the word "Merry" that you can mix and match with other sentiments in the stamp set. Here is closer look at the sentiment :

It was so much fun to create these cards - and get the wheels going to get started on holiday card making!!

Thanks for visiting, crafty friends! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete blog roll of our participating designers!

Ciao for now!

Taylored Expressions Day 1 Sneak Peeks: Wishes on A Wire and Campy Christmas

Hi Everyone

Its that most wonderful time of the year rounding the corner and Taylor has a whole new set of amazing holiday dies, papers and stamps for your stamping pleasure for the Holidays! Today is Day 1 of the October Sneak Peeks and each day we will be sneaking peeks from the newest release which will be on October 2, Thursday morning at 7am PST!!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

For my sneak peeks today, I created two cards with two new stamp sets! The first one is from the new stamp set called Wishes on A Wire - it is super cute and has two birdhouses with a "Merry Xmas" banner in between them. I created a little scene using the Rolling Hills dies (from the Build A Scene collection) and embossed the snowfalls using the new Embossing Folder: Snowfall from TE!!! I LOVE this folder - perfect to create the texture, illusion and varied sizes of snowballs for the snowfall! I used the Aqua Mist felt from TE to cut out some hills and to add some softness - love how it turned out:

Here is a closer look at it - I also added the Party Banner die for a more festive feel - I love this pink Designer Paper from the Gingerbread Lane Paper Pack from TE:

 Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Wishes On A Wire stamp set from Taylored Expressions
Paper: Matched Gingerbread Lane Paper Pack & Cardstock from Taylored Expressions
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Distress Tumbled Glass
Taylored Dies: Build A Scene dies: Rolling Hills and Party Banner dies from TE
Accessories: Aqua Mist Felt from TE, Snowfall Embossing Folder from TE, copics, glitter, corner rounder and foam tape

For my second card, I kept the scene theme going and continued using my new favorite embossing folder: Snowfall and added the Rolling HIlls and Swirly Clouds dies from TE along with the sentiment and card with the tree from the new Campy Christmas stamp set! I paper pieced the car with the red and white polkdot paper from the new TE paper pack: Gingerbread Lane - I love how this card turned out - so festive and fun!

Here is a closer look! I love the clouds and the snowfalling - and decided to have a little fun by making the car whimsy by paper piecing it and making the hills kind of artsty by giving it some designer paper fun! I just love all these stamps!

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Campy Christmas from Taylored Expressions
Paper: Matched Gingerbread Lane Paper Pack & Cardstock from Taylored Expressions
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Distress Tumbled Glass
Taylored Dies: Build A Scene dies: Rolling Hills and Swirly Clouds
Accessories: Snowfall Embossing Folder from TE, copics, glitter, corner rounder and foam tape

I really enjoyed these creations SO much and can't wait to show you the peeks for tomorrow! So please hop over again!

Taylored Expressions Release Day: Lil Pumpkin

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Release Day at Taylored Expressions! All of the September Release products that we have been sneeking all week are ready for your crafting pleasure! For release day fun, I created a little scene for the newest Mischief Maker: Lil Pumpkin! I love her Halloween outfit - my daughter was a pumpkin one year when she was a baby - and it is seriously just the cutest outfit :)

I paired this Lil Pumpkin stamp set with the Critters n Costume stamp set where I stamped the little pirate kitty and then added him into the scene for some Halloween fun :) The background was created by sponging the clouds with the Cloud Border die and the hills with the Rolling Hills die that was embossed with the Lots of Dots folder. I added the Spooky Fence border along the back and some grass from the Grass Border up front:

Here is a close up of her - I colored here in with copics and then cut her and little pirate kitty out and popped them under one of the rolling hills. I took an x-acto knife and cut out the part under the handle of her trick or treat pail - love how she turned out :)

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Mischief Maker Lil' Pumpkin and Critters in Costume stamp sets from Taylored Expressions
Paper: Hocus Pocus Matched set (Taylored Expressions)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, London Fog and Copic Markers
Taylored Dies: Spooky Fence Border die, Lots of Dots Embossing Folder, Build A Scene: Rolling Hills, Clouds Border Die, Grass Border die
Accessories: Circle Dies (Spellbinders), foam tape (TE), Best Glue Ever, corner counder

I loved creating this fun card with this cutie mischief maker and the adorable pirate kitty cat!!

September Sneak Peeks: Test Tube Caddy

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the third day of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions!! This is such an exciting day because there is an awesome new die that Taylor will be releasing that creates a testube that can be filled with all sorts of goodies!! For my project today, I created some Halloween goodies that I thought would be perfect to pass out in my kids classes for Halloween! You can purchase the testubes at the TE store and fill 'em up with sweet goodness - here I used white choclate candy corn M&M's mmmmm! Sooo good!! I created three Test Tube caddies using the new Hocus Pocus paper pack and the Matched Cardstock from TE:

I used the Halloween Treat Toppers to put on top of the test tube caddies and the You've Been Framed: Halloween on the front of the caddies for decoration - also - there would have been more M&M's in the picture - but I ate most of them while crafting and taking these pictures :)

I can't wait to make more of these treat holders for Halloween!! There is also something party-fabulous that will be released soon - which are the Party Monster dies that coordinate with the Party Monsters stamp set that has been previously released - here is a card I made with these super cute Party Monsters with the Double the Fun paper pack and Matched cardstock from Taylored Expressions:

Here is a close up of these party monsters - I added a little googly-eye to the them for a little bit of wacky silliness :) I also added the sequins from the Double the Fun - Girl sequin pack to the banner and die cut the balloons out for more of a festive flair :) I used the new Zig Zag Embossing Folder for a more textured background:

Here is the inside of the card -  I love this font - so fun!!

Thanks So much for visiting, Crafty Friends!! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete blog roll of all our participating Designers HERE!!
