Taylored Expressions Release Day! Balloon Buddies



HI Everyone!

It's Release Day over at Taylored Expressions! Woohoo!! And its also my birthday :) yay! Another year and grateful to be able to celebrate the most important things in life: family, friendships and love! And it is also TE's 7th birthday and there is a lot of fun stuff that is going on at TE in celebrating this birthday release of 7 years of TE!!!  - please check Taylor's Blog for all the information and Party Favors!!!:

For my card today, I created a little cardset using the Balloon Buddies set with the Balloon Buddies Dies (TE) - and I used my favorite animal balloon buddy: this cutie pie elephant! I stamped and die cut the elephants and then colored them in and created some assembly line card elements to create this set of three.


Here is a closer peek at this card : I love how this card turned out! There is something just so fun about balloons picking up this cutie elephant!! This could be for a baby shower, a baby's birthday or just for a special occaision!:

Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black ink and copic markers
Paper: Toffee, Salt Water Taffy, Pink Polka dots from the Hello Happiness paper pack (TE), Green polka dots from the Build A Scene paper pack (TE) and Sugar Cube cardstock
Accessories: circle nestabilities, best glue ever, white sharpie pen, 1" circle punch and foam dimensional tape

TE September Release: Build A Scene- Trees and Sack It - Fox


HI Everyone!

I absolutely LOVED making this card using a new set of dies called: Build A Scene - Trees! These trees are so so so so cute! Perfect size to die cut a few of them onto a card and each so different and varied! I paired this with the Happy New Home stamp and die combo which comes with the little cloud die and the stamps and dies for the house:



I love the different tree leaf options - esp the one with the heart on it - so adorable!! Here is a close up of the card:

For my second project, I created a little cute Fox using the SackIt To You die with the new Sack It - Fox die set . I love the Sack It die - it is such a perfect way to create a little favor or make a birthday gift special :) And this fox is just so super cute - awww! I love how easily and quickly it is to create this little project - the Sack It - Fox die set makes it so easy!


Here is a closer peek at little Mr. Fox! I added a little tie using some twine and then made the front of him a little different using some DP and then crimped his tail (because every high fashion fox has their tail crimped of course! ;) - this little guy just makes me so happy!! :

September Taylored Expressions: Simply Stamped: Sunflowers and One and Only you

My first card features the Simply Stamped - Sunflowers stamp set - with this gorgeous font full of beautiful sentiments!!! I used the Rainbow Scallops Cutting Plate for the background and then stamped the sunflower with two stamps and added the leaves on the bottom (stamped and then die cut with the Simply Stamped - Sunflowers dies): 


Love how simple it was to create this flower - two different inks and voila! Here is a closer peek - I added some stickles to the center of the flower


Card Ingredients:

Papers: Lemon Meringue (TE) and Sugar Cube (TE)
Inks: Memento Bamboo Leaves, Canteloupe and Dandelion

For my second card, I created this using the One and Only You stamp set - which will be FREE with purchase of $50 or more during the birthday celebration this week!!! 

 I used the Hello Happiness Matched Kit for all the papers in this card - i love how fun and festive these papers are such a cool blend of colors and designs. I also added a little Sundae using the Little Bits - Ice Cream Sundae dies:
