Taylored Expressions March Release: Build A Scene - Bistro and Roly Poly - Owl

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the second day of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions! I am so excited to share my first card for today using the new Build A Scene - Bistro dies! I decided to create a little scene by creating a little cafe using the Brick Embossing Folder and created a window using the Stitched Rectangle Stacklets. The awning of the cafe was made by accordion folding the designer paper and then adding Rainbow Scallop border underneath. I just absolutely love love loved how this scene turned out (and I also really really really want a cupcake!!) :

Here is a close up of the cafe - I loved making the bricks come alive with sponging the bricks different colors and then cutting out the banners and cupcakes from the paperpack and layering it all together:

For my second project, I created a little owl-y card using the Roly Poly - Owl die set - I love the different options in this super cute set of dies - you can make a boy or girl owl depending on which eyes you use. I decided to go with the male owl - and instead of using the dies for his eyebrows, I used it for a little tuft of hair - because he looked a little like my son with a little faux hawk thing happening :D. I loved how this card turned out!

Here is a closer peek at the card : I used the sentiment from the Let's Talk Sentiments stamp set with the Little Bits - Let's Talk Bubbles 3  -- This card was super cute to create and so much fun to layer up - serious cutenss with all of these dies!!!

Taylored Expressions March Release: Happily Ever After and Mr. & Mrs. Congrats Banner

Hi Everyone!!

Happy Leap Day!! Its our extra day in February and what a great way to celebrate by starting sneak peeks for the Taylored Expressions release for October! YAY! To start off the release - I created a project with the Happily Ever After Dies that coordinate with the previously released stamp set: Happily Ever After. The flowers and leaves in this stamp set can now be easily cut out with these dies and for my project, I created a framed piece that can be given as a gift for an anniversary or a wedding. I love this sentiment; "May happiness be yours, today and always." I stamped the flowers in this stamp set with different colors and then die cut them out, along with the leaves stamp set that was also die cut. The center panel was sponged and then embossed with the Lots of Dots embossing folder. I added some leaves from the Leafy Branch die to fill up the foliage and then added some bling to the center of the flowers (on the glass of the frame).

Here is another view of the side of the frame - I just love how this turned out and absolutely love the dies for this set that makes it so easy to cut out these stamps!
