JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop #3

Good Morning Everyone,

Welcome to JustRite Stampers’ newest Wednesday feature, 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops #3! Every Wednesday up until Thanksgiving some of your favorite designers will be joining some of the JustRite design team for a series of Christmas blog hops, showcasing JustRite’s entire Christmas Collection of stamps! So mark your calendars for Wednesdays at 9am Central for great Christmas gift, card & project ideas, starting at the JustRite Inspiration blog!

One thing that I love doing for Christmas is to create ornaments (either to keep or to give as a gift). Its fun to see the ornaments that we have created as a family and it makes trimming the tree with the wee ones so much fun. I haven't made an ornament this year yet, so I thought it would be fun to create a framed ornament and used a frame that I had lying around and pulled out the sweet little Nutcracker from the Vintage Christmas 3 1-4" stamp set from JustRite Stamps. I stamped the image onto some BoBunny Christmas paper and then stamped it again on some white cardstock and colored it in with copics, glazed the yellow portions and then attached it to the frame.
Card Ingredients:
Paper: BoBunny
Ink: Memento: Tuxedo Black
Accessories: frame, copics, bling, Adirondacks Liquid pearls, ribbon from MayArts, glaze.

I cut out some holly from the same DP and added a bit of glaze and attached it to the corners of the frame, along with some liquid pearls, and bling. I finished it off with some ribbon. Initially I was going to give this cute little guy away as a gift, but now I am not sure if I can give him away - I keep seeing him on our Christmas tree :)

This little nutcracker is such a cute image and comes with other super cute vintage style images in the Vintage Christmas stamp set that are 3 1-4" and are perfect for those who love the vintage style or those who like to give the vintage style their own twist :)

I can't wait to see what all of the amazing creations everyone has created for today's hop! Please visit these designers’ blogs to see what fabulous Christmas projects they have for you on the hop today!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Sankari :)

Sankari,
Great idea for those little frames that came out a few years ago. I just couldn't resist and bought several thinking I would put family pictures in them. But I really like your idea better.
