May Stamp of the Month from Taylored Expressions

Hey Everyone,

Hi Everyone,

This month's Stamp of the Month (SOTM) from Taylored Expressions (May '14) is called: Bloom and Grow and comes with coordinating dies called Hello Blooms The  deluxe subscription to the KI kit will also come with the SOTM (with dies) along with all the ingredients in the Key Ingredients Kit! What an awesome deal to get a monthly package of awesome crafty goodness!!

For my project for today's SOTM blog hop, I used the lovely butterfly stamp set that comes with lines flaring out from the center and used the Hello Blooms dies butterfly shape to cut out the different butterflies inked with mixed ink colors. I paired it with some of the awesome DP papers from the KI kit (I love the grid paper and the multiple blooms papers!)

Here is a close up of the butterflies - I just love how mixing the inks with the stamp set creates some fun, different and unique butterflies. I added some different colorful buttons from my buttons stash and added some twine to the center and then used some glue dots to adhere it to the center. The edges of the butterflies got flared out by curling it with a pen - I love how these sweet butterflies on it :)

Welcome to Day 3 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions!! Today my heart is swooning over some super cute animal friends! The first one is a new little doggy friend named Boscoe!! Isn't he just the cutest thing --- ever!!
I stamped Boscoe and then colored him with the smooth as butter Spectrum Noir markers and then colored in the flowers and cut it out from the flower die that comes with this stamp set. I created some grass for Boscoe to sit on using the Grass Border die and the clouds using the Cloud Border die. I added some faux stitching and added a little orange gingham ribbon to the side for a little fun :) Isn't Boscoe's expression so darling?!!

For my second card, I created a little dino playdate scene using dinos from the new stamp set called: Dino-Mite - aren't they SO cute?! I created some hills using the Build A Scene - Rolling Hills dies and Build A Scene Sunshine dies along with the Clouds Border die.
I colored the different dinos with fun bright colors and then added a little cupcake on the back of one of the Dinos from the stamp set: For the Love of Cupcakes:

I added the birthday sentiment "Big Birthday Wishes" on the inside with one more of the cute dinos ... I love this little cutie!

Taylored Expressions May Sneak Peeks: P&P Journal Tabs

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to day two of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions, where today I created a project featuring two stamp sets: Journal Tabs - Month and Journal Tabs - Day - each with coordinating dies.

These two journal tabs are so perfect for scrapbooking or Pockets & Page booking!! I created a layout from our trip down south in April and used the Journal Tabs to indicate the month, and then used the tabs to also create a label for the different parts of the layout:
Here is a close up of one of the part of the page layout - where I used the Journal Tab - Month stamp set (stamped the April stamp with Cantaloupe ink) along with date created by using the Sweet & Simple #s dies:
For both the above and below pictures, I kept a blank area where I can go back and journal. There is also a blank Journal Tab from the Journal Tab - Month stamp set that you can use to write in your own tab - I decided to create a banner using the blank journal tab and inking it with different color inks to create a rainbow. The little polka dot circles were punched out from scrap DP. I used the die from the Journal Tab - Day stamp set to die cut a label that I could journal in.
The Journal Tab - Day stamp set also comes with fun sentiments such as: "Love This" and "Right Now" that I used against the pictures of the kids writing their name in the sand.

I kept the last layout super simple by creating 4 pictures in the square and then centered the sentiment "Love" from the Circle Words P&P dies in the middle of the layout.
Page Ingredients:
Stamps: Journal Tabs - Month with coordinating die, Journal Tabs - Day with coordinating dies
Paper: Blue and Yellow cardstock
Memento Inks: Ladybug Red, Tangelo, Cantaloupe, Bamboo Leaves, Sky Blue
Accessories: Best Glue Ever, White gel pen, corner rounder
Taylored Dies: P & P Circle Words, Sweet and Simple #s

There are so many awesome projects that showcase all the wonderful P and P journaling tools, dies and stamps that will be released this month - please hop along with me and check them out here:
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Please come over tomorrow and check out more peeks from the release this month!
