Taylored Expressions September Release Day: Block Party - Happy and Another Year Older

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to the September Release from Taylored Expressions!! September is my favorite time of the year and I love it partly because it is my birthday month (yay!) and partly because there is something about the transition into autumn always soothes my soul! And also because of birthday cake :) ! Speaking of birthdays - This September Taylored Expressions is celebrating 7 years of creating and releasing amazing stamps, dies, paper packs and supplies for your crafty pleasure! Woohoo!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

For both of my cards today - I used the fun and bright Hello Happiness Matched Kit paper pack and cardstock from Taylored Expressions for The first card I made for the birthday release is one using the Block Party - Happy die that cuts out the word "Happy" either within the card fold and still maintaining its structural integrity. I used this die and paired it with the Happy Birthday Banner die - which dies cuts each word separately into a banner shape and adhered it under the Block "happy" die cut out. I also cut out by hand some of the banners from the paper pack as well as a line of cupcakes from another one of the design papers in this Hello Happiness paper pack.

I just love how this card turned out and the colors in this Matched Kit! So fun and lively and I added a little bith of bling here and some stickles there to finish it off - here is another angle:

Card Ingredients:
Taylored Dies: Block Party - Happy, Happy Birthday Banner die
Papers; Hello Happiness Matched Kit
Accessories: corner chomper, Best Glue Ever, foam dimensional tape, Stickles (Diamond), Enamel dots

For my second card, I used the Another Year Older stamp set which has some hilarious and awesome sentiments - I used the happy birthday stamp set on the outside and then for the inside I used my favorite one. Here is the outside of the card to which I used the Skinny Mini Party Borders:

And here is the inside of the card with my favorite sentiment from this stamp set: "May you live to be so old your driving scares people" hahahahahaha!!!! That just makes me laugh!! I love it - what a fun wish!

I created a line of cupcakes using the Little Bits - Cupcake die and added some glitter to the cupcakes on the end.  I love these super cute Little Bits!!

I have loved making projects for this release and have loved looking at everyone's amazing creations!! Please make sure to stop by the TE blog today for more info and to hop over to everyone's blog today to check out their works of art!

August Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks: Build a Tag 5, Eventful - Fright Night

Hi Everyone!!

Welcome to the August Release of Taylored Expressions!!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

For my first project, I made this card all out of dies!! I used the new Eventful - Frightful Night die - and then cut out the house, trees, and pumpkins so I could arrange them differently and create a spooky night scene. I also used the Rolling HIlls dies to die cut some hills using the Metallic Neutrals silver cardstock and embossed it with the new to be released Weathered embossing folder:

I used the Wrought Iron Fence die and die cut it using black and grey spider web paper from the Matched Kit - Build a Scene Halloween papers. I used this matched kit papers for the purple cardstock background, for the grass, clouds and sky.

For my second project, I created a set of spooky tags using the Build A Tag 5 and the Tag-A-Long Halloween stamp set - what a fun and easy way of creating a set of tags to make teachers gifts or class gifts extra fun and easy!! Here is one tag:

And here is the set of tags - I love all the papers in this Matched Kit - Build A Scene Halloween set! I also added a spider web from the Spooky Arbor - Accessories die set and added a little bling to the center and some twine from the tag center!  I love this tag set!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Please hop over tomorrow for more TE sneak peeks!!

Taylored Expressions August Sneak Peeks: Fine Feathers and Simply Stamped - Daisies

Hi Everyone!!

Welcome to the August Release of Taylored Expressions!!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

I love the stamp sets and dies being peeked today - the sentiments are so beautiful and I am so in love with the font! For my first card I am using the Fine Feathers die set with the beautiful sentiment from the Simply Stamped-Daisies stamp set . I created a little bouquet with the dies and die cut all the feathers with some felt and tied it with some ribbon and put it against a backgroud of clouds using the cloud border die:

Here is a close up of the felt, feathers and twine:

For my second card, I made a very CAS card using the Simply Stamped - Daisies stamp set and dies: I stamped the center of the flowers and die cut them and then adhered them to some leaves that were tied together with twine:

I added irresistible Pico Wedding embellisher - which creates beautiful enamel dots when dried. I love the sentiment and wanted to keep it still simple and clean without too much activity - so I used predominantly Sugar Cube white cardstock :)

Loved making these  card with these gorgeous dies and sentiments!!
