Happy New Year!
I hope that you all had a wonderful time this holiday season with family and friends. It was lovely to see our parents along with the realizations that time is so precious and the time spent with our dear ones are priceless. I took a little break from blogging, Facebook and even checking gmails and just enjoyed being with the family. It was truly a lovely and sweet way to unplug, reflect and get energized for this new year!
Have you made a resolutions list for this year? I have not only made it - but also broken most of them - it hasn't even been a full day yet! But that's okay - every day can be a new beginning! I made this little card for a friend using the Happy New Year A La Carte from Taylored Expressions:
Card Ingredients:
Paper: Basic Grey
Stamps: Happy New Year A La Carte from Taylored Expressions
Inks: Copics and Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: bling, ribbon from stash, Pennant Border dies and Frame It Up 1 die from Taylored Expressions
I had some Basic Grey paper pads from almost 2 years ago that I have been squirreling away and I decided to use them (that's one of my resolutions this year - to actually use my DP! :) The sentiment was stamped in the Frame It Up 1 die from Taylored Expressions and colored with copics. I added a few pennants using the Pennant Border die and finished it off with some bling :)
I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for stopping or for leaving a comment - I truly appreciate it and toast to you and your family's good health and happiness!
Hope this year is one of fulfillment, sunshine, and great joy for all,
Much love,
Sankari

Love how you use color...this is fabulous!!! I keep telling myself not to buy any more dp (I have an abundance) but, it's soooo hard when I see some new pattern I love!!! Will think of you when I'm using what I have/discovering papers I didn't remember I had!!!
