Taylored Expressions June Sneak Peek: Patriotic Graphic Greeting and Ride the Wave Border
Hi Everyone!
This week is the start of release week at Taylored Expressions and we are kicking off with sneaking peeks of these awesome stamp sets, dies and project pantries!!! To start off, there is a new awesome Graphic Greeting called Patriotic which is perfect for creating Patriotic cards and projects! There is also a new Patriotic Project Pantry which is a kit with cardstock, coordinating ribbon and DP from Doodlebug - check out all the awesome things in this kit here:
I love the Project Pantries - it really takes the guess work out of creating a card with coordinating elements - AND it makes card making so much faster! I stamped the sentiment with red and blue inks and then cut out some of the red sentiments and put it over the blue inked sentiments and then rounded the corners. I loved the fireworks paper and the awesome red white and blue chevron paper which I cut up and put over the sentiment:
I also added some bling on the stars next to the red, white and blue sentiment and a large bling to the center of the ribbon:
Here is a closer peek at the sentiments - I love all the fonts and the different sentiments in this one set - so so so many possibilities!!
Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Patriotic Graphic Greeting from Taylored Expressions
Paper: Patriotic Project Pantry using Doodle Bug Stars & Stripes DP
Inks: Memento Nautical Blue, Bahama Blue, Teal Zeal, Love Letter
Accessories: Best Glue Ever, Bling, dimensionals, ribbon from the Patriotic Project Pantry 2013 kit from TE, liquid pearls
For my second project, I created a fun summery card using the new Ride the Wave stamp set and paired it with the new Ride the Wave Border die - LOVE this new die - all the swirls and whirls make me so happy!! I love the fun images of the surfers in this set and the awesome palm trees blowing in the wind:
Here is a closer peek at the image of the surfer - I inked the image with a couple of different inks and added it to a mat using the new Pinking Shears dies!
Here is a closer peek at the Ride the Wave border die - I added some bling to the center of the swirls and run the die on a darker piece of blue cardstock and put half of it over the other wave border die - Love the feel of this stamp set and these dies:
Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Ride the Wave stamp set from Taylored Expressions
Paper: Simple Stories: Vintage Bliss, Bazzil Baby blue Cardstock and Choice Snow White Cardstock
Inks: Memento Tangelo, Bahama Blue, Bamboo Leaves, Pear Tart
