You're the Best! Shaker card

Hi Everyone!

One of my amazing co-workers is simply the very best! She constantly makes our office space the happiest and most nourishing place to be and this week she has done so many wonderful things for me - always thinking of others before herself and I cannot even express how her kind gestures just touches my heart!!

I wanted to create a little something special for her and created this shaker card using the sentiment: "You're the Best" (because she is the best! :) )from the Greetings For Her stamp set

I love how this card turned out! Here are some instructions for making this card:

  1. I started out by using the Heart Stacklets dies and created this cut out by die cutting the second/third largest stacklets out of Cherry Pop cardstock
  2. I cut out a piece of acetate from the second largest stacklet and then adhered it under the red heart die cut out and then adhered a line of foam tape under the die cut out.
  3. The base was cut out using the Metallic Neutrals gold cardstock to which I stamped the sentiment off to one side of the middle and then added sequins to it. I then overlayed the red frame over the sentiment and sequins.
  4. Using the Earl Grey cardstock I created an A2 card base and then embossed the gold cardstock with the Zig Zag embossing folder. To this I die cut the largest heart from the Earl Grey cardstock and added some little dots using the Irresistible Pico Embellishers and then added a little banner to the top and finished it with some twine to either side.
Here is a close up of the card:

I just loved making this card and cannot wait to give this to her on Friday- a little card on her desk with a little present for the weekend!! So grateful to have wonderful co-workers!!

Hope you are all doing well!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Sankari :)

This is such a beautiful and happy card! I love the shaker heart, and the large sparkles that look like bits of ice! Very cool! Your background is an interesting choice, too, and compliments the overall design very well. Excellent work and quite inspiring!
