JustRite 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hop #2

Hi everyone,

Welcome to JustRite Stampers’ newest Wednesday feature: 12 Weeks of Christmas Blog Hops #2! There are so many lovely stamps that JustRite carries that its super fun to mix and match - so I decided to use a combination of stamps to create this Christmas card. I used the sentiment from the Nature Nested Sentiments & Verse and inserted it into the Baroque Nested Frames. I LOVE the clear block acrylic stamper that makes it super easy to mix it up! I paired it with the lovely cardinal from the BackYard Birds 3 1/4" stamp set.

Card Ingredients:

Paper: Bo Bunny

Stamps: All from JustRite stamps: sentiment from: Nature Nested Sentiments & Verse, and then matched with the Baroque Nested Frames, cardinal is from the BackYard Birds 3 1/4" stamp set.

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Ladybug Red

Accessories: Spellbinders, Adirondacks Lettuce, Red Pepper dimensional pearls, ribbon from stash, glue dots, copics, sponge dauber, scalloped die cut from MFT and dimensional foam.

I adore the sweet birds in the BackYard Birds stamp set and love that it is versatile to be mixed with a Christmas sentiment - love that versatility!!! The little berries were made by rolling some red DP and the holly was freehand cut and dotted with my fave liquid pearls :) Please visit these designers' blogs to see what fabulous Christmas projects they have for you on the hop today:

JustRite Stampers: Baroque Nested Frames

Hi Everyone,

One of my sweetest friends surprised me with the sweetest surprise the other day - and I couldn't wait to make her a special thank you card! I brought out one of my favorite kind of stamp sets called from JustRite Stamps which are the nested Frame and Sentiment sets (check them all out here - they are such a fabulous way of creating layers of borders and there are tons of sentiments and borders that can be interchanged easily (seriously have been lovin' these sweet nested frames so much!)

For this thank you card, I used the Baroque Nested Frames stamp set and mixed up the borders and sentiments to create this thank you card. I wanted to create something with some urban elegance and so I picked some yummy papers from Prima and used their delicious border of flowers. The sentiment "Thank You" is cut out and popped up and then dotted up with a wee bit of glaze:

I don't usually make quick cards (ha! :) mostly because I am watching a movie when I am making a card and picking out papers usually takes hours - but I loved how quickly this card came together - I didn't time it - but it wasn't more than two segments of Friends :) I can't wait to make some more cards with all of these gorgeous sentiments :)

JustRite Nested Frames: Just For You!

Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend! This is our last weekend before the kids go back to school and I wanted to give a little special card to one of our friends who has helped us with watch the kids this summer - I still can't believe that summer vacation is over - and as much as I am happy that they are going to school, it also makes me a wee bit sad and proud at the same time to get them ready to go to the next grade - totally bittersweet.

I absolutely love the fonts and borders of the Nested Frames from JustRite stampers - and pulled out my All Occasion Nested Sentiments & Verse (gotta love all the different sentiments/sizes and fonts for all different occasions!) and paired it up with the Victorian Nested Frames (which comes with 3 large frames and 3 small frames). They both easily fit on the clear horizontal stamper (they fit like butter!). I loved creating this card and did a little embossing on the border and sentiment so that I could sponge around it without streaking:

Stamps: Victorian Nested Frames , All Occasion Nested Sentiments & Verse , clear horizontal stamper

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Ink, Clear Embossing powder, (sponging: Cantaloupe from Memento)

Accessories: Pearls from Want 2 Scrap, Adirondacks liquid pearls, MS punch, dimensionals, sheer gray ribbon from stash

I couldn't wait to use some of the new "Togetherness" papers from Cosmo Cricket and just was in bliss when I saw this cheery yellow sunshine-y DP! I have been wanting to try the rolled flowers that I have been seeing and used the wonderful Joanne's tutorial from SCS for the little flower accent :)

Well, we are off to frolick in the sunshine and a have a little picnic today before the kids go to school tomorrow :) Hope that you are enjoying your weekend and get some relaxing time in too!!!
