Good Morning Everyone,
Welcome to Day 2 of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions where today we are showing you sneak peeks from two stamps sets that Tyalor will be releasing on Friday 8am PST called: Easter Blessings and Favorite Peeps - just in time for all your Spring and Easter cardmaking joy! Along with these stamp sets, Taylor is also releasing the Easter Key Ingredients kit which makes it super easy to crank out all your Easter cards (includes, card stock, coordinating DP, ribbon, buttons and Paper Pretties (mini flowers).
Cards from the Easter Blessings Stamp Set
This stamp set is part of the Lasting Impressions stamp line that has sentiments and images of faith and I made these two cards for my sweet SILs and the colors of the cards reminded me of them. The first one is made using a cathedral shaped template and uses everything from the Easter Key Ingredients Kit:
I love this image with the swirlies around the cross and added Taylor's Tiny Twinkles to them and the only thing that i used from the Easter Key Ingredients for this card were the Paper Pretties (the mini flowers - aren't they so cute?!)
These stamps just make it so simple and elegant to create Easter cards that inspire. I love the fonts and the beautiful swirls and whirls - just so elegant and lovely.
Cards from the stamp set: My Favorite Peeps:
I absolutely LOVED the illustrations that Nancy has created for this sweeeeet stamp set - the images and sentiments and fonts are just beautiful!!! I had so much fun creating the cards that it was actually hard to stop :) There are a TON of sentiments and images and SO many possibilities in this gorgeous stamp set! This first card uses Taylor's Friday Sketch Challenge #102 and I flipped it around horizontally to create this card with the matching box (template by Cambria Turnbrow)
There were more eggs around when I started and all I will say, is that its MIGHTY hard to not gobble up these cute little eggs :) For this second and third card - I LOVED the egg that is in this stamp set because it has so much fun to color! For this card - I stamped three eggs and colored them differently and then cut out the center of the card and then stamped these cute little chickies (I masked it off so they would appear 3 individual cheeps) and then inserted it inside the cut out part:
I couldn't stop with the cute egg and so I stamped and colored another one and then "cracked" it open by cutting a zig zag and then popped out a cute little chickie from the top :) I LOVE this sentiment!
There are so many egg-cellent creations that the Baker's Dozen Design Team has created today, they are simply amazing! Check out these beautiful sneak peeks!
