Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks - Day 2

Hi Everyone!!!

Did you check out all the sneak peeks happening over at Taylored Expressions? Taylor will be releasing brand new stamps and Project Pantry kits at 8am PST, Thursday, July 8th over at Taylored Expressions! Today half of the Baker's Dozen are going to be previewing a wonderful stamp set called Weigh to Go (the other half of the Baker's Dozen will be previewing an awesome stamp set called In the Park).

The Weigh to Go stamp set is full of inspirational sentiments and awesome images featuring Tena and is the perfect stamp set to create cards and gifts for friends and family who are getting into a workout routine or diet. This is such the perfect stamp set for me right now because after our recent vacation where I ate all kinds of goodies and snackies - I decided I need a better workout routine and need to make sure that I am eating the right foods. My DH and I spoke with some friends of ours who are very health conscious and aware and we both decided to start a whole new routine with what we eat etc. So this stamp set was the perfect one to keep me inspired!!!

I created Fridge magnets because I don't know HOW many times a day I open it and just stand there trying to figure out what to eat/snack/munch on - so I thought to create some magnets there to make sure I am always focused on my goal.

Project #1 - Set Your Goals Magnet
I took a matchbox and created this magnet from it (added some magnetic strips to the back) and stamped the sentiment: "Set you Goal and Go For It" - and then colored in the super cute dress stamp red and attached it to the box. I decorated it with some bling and liquid pearls and then on the inside I wrote down my goal of what I would like to lose, by when and rolled it up in a scroll and attached it to the inside of the box:

This way any time I am tempted - I just have to look at the red dress and remember the goal that I wrapped in there and it helps to refocus my energies on making sure that I am staying healthy!

Project #2 - Dreams Come True Magnet:
I created another matchbox magnet for a friend of mine who is starting a cleanse and this is something that she can put on her fridge and if she wants to can add a little inspirational quote or something inside of her goals and dreams that she can open up if she needs a little boost - I adore this sentiment:

It was such a fun and easy to project to make and I finished it off with some magnetic strips on the back of the box.

Project #1 - Food Journal Magnet:
I notice for me that because I have young kids who enjoy their mid morning and afternoon snacks, sometimes I join them not because I am hungry - but because there is food there and so this inspired me to keep a food journal to keep a record about what I eat when - because most of the time I don't even notice that I just popped a corner of a cookie in my mouth (and then I wonder where did all the cookies go? :)

So I created a little food journal and stamped the super cute veggies that are in this stamp set and decorated a little journal with it. I used the Stitched Plaid background stamp to decorate part of the Food Journal - this is a beautiful big stamp that can be used to decorate a large area like a whole card front - or a small one like in the food journal. I also decorated a little container to hold the journal and a pen - and added some magnets to the back of it so that I can keep it right on the fridge:
The journal is still small enough that it can fit in my purse - I loved creating this for me and can't wait to see what the patterns are for me of what I eat when and can't wait to create a more healthy eating/snacking routine with it!

Here is a picture of all of the Weigh to Go Magnet Projects that I created - and I love each and every one of them because they are reminders of the goals that I have set for myself and they are a way to help me remember to stick to them!
And here they are on the fridge!! I love my little magnet reminders :)

I can't wait to check out all the amazing creations that the Baker's Dozen have created today with both stamp sets!!! Check out their awesome creations at each of their amazing blogs here:
