JustRite Stamps: Myriad Pro Font

Hi Everyone,

Ever since our first breakfast date two weeks ago, my DH and I are excited for our next one! I decided to make him a little card for our next breakfast date (fingers crossed that it could be tomorrow :) I picked this photo which is the first picture of us after we got back from our honeymoon almost 9 years ago. My DH's mom snapped this picture and it represents to me our first step back into the reality of being married after our fairytale honeymoon. I still felt so shy to use the word "husband" when I referred to him and so I wanted to use this picture for my card today. I used the Baroque Nested Frames from JustRite stamps to frame the picture of us within it by stamping it on red cardstock and then cutting it out (also added a little bit of stickles to the flourises).

I used the super lovely font set from JustRite stampers called Myriad Pro (this comes in both 95pt Upper & Lowercase font set as well as 50pt. Upper and Lowercase set). For this card today, I used the font set that is the 95pt Upper and Lowercase and used it with the large acrylic block that is the Clear Horizontal Block. I love the font sets from JustRite Stampers because you can easily create your own stamps - and so I created this sentiment: "my rinky" :) When my DH and I were in India where we got engaged, we had nicknames for each other - and his nickname that I gave him was Rinky (long story behind that one  :) (I even got him an engraved keychain that was personalized with his nickname - so I was giggling as I made this stamp for my card for him. As for my nickname that he gave me - well, I think I might have to save that for another blogpost ;)

Ink: Memento Tuxedo black

Accessories: EK success punch, smooth bling, dimensionals, corner chomper, Prisma colored flowers, liquid pearls white, ribbon from stash.
