Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the second day of sneak peeks from Taylored Expressions - where today all the design team members are sneaking peeks from the new stamp sets that will be released on Thursday! Today, I am excited to sneak peek one of the newest Moka Men - please welcome Moka Tim! This little guy is illustrated by the awesome Nancy McKinney and he is so cute with his little tool belt and is part of the Petite set of 5 images/sentiments - and is the perfect stamp set for birthdays, love notes, father's day and more!

I made this card for my dear FIL who is the best handyman ever! This last time when they visited, it took me a day to realize that he had fixed my which was not sitting properly on the ground (it had lost a screw or something technical - i don't remember). The really sweet part was that I didn't even see my FIL fix the stove - it was suddenly fixed - I asked him if he did it - and he said that he noticed it the day before and had fixed it in that morning! Amazing! And suddenly we have a dimmer switch in the dining room like I always wanted, our car doesn't make a squeaky sound when I brake, the dryer works great again, the chair in the dining room is not broken and I was just amazed at how many little things were fixed in one little weekend visit! I thought I could have a little gift certificate to the Home Depot enclosed inside the card as a pre-Father's day gift :)

I stamped  Moka Tim and then paper pieced his pants and colored in his shirt and the rest of his body with copies. I added the sentiment around the image (the sentiment: "you are so handy to have around" --- this sentiment is actually one long sentence, but I stamped and masked it in such a way to have two lines of the sentiment because it fit better with the layout of the card)

Card Ingredients:
Paper: My Mind's Eye (6x6 paper pad)
Stamps: Moka Tim from Taylored Expressions
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black and copics
Accessories: EK success scallop bunch, corner punch, Spellbinders, ribbons from Taylored Expressions and  dimensionals

I love all the Mokas - they are so cute - there is another Moka that is being sneaked today by the Design Team - please hop along with me and check out all the different stamp sets that are being sneaked and all the gorgeous creations from the Design Team!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Big hugs,
Sankari :)

Oh this is so sweet! I love the little hammers at the indents of the scallops - makes the cardstock look like ribbon being held up by them! So clever (and pretty too!)
