Taylored Expressions September Sneak Peek: Party Banner Border Die and Totally Tags - Occaisions

Hi Everyone!

I am so so excited for today's Taylored Expressions release for September!!! This month is TE's 5th birthday - so all month long there are going to be lots and lots of birthday celebrations for TE that everyone can participate in! AND today is also another special day - its been 5 years since I kind of joined TE! 5 years ago, I joined Taylor for guest designing and then in January, I became a  full time TE designer and have been so grateful to be part of the TE family since then!! HAPPY birthday Taylored Expressions!!!

ANNNNDDDD there is no way better to celebrate TE's birthday than having it be on your birthday!YAY! I am so excited for my birthday today! My DH and my kids decorated the dining room for breakfast and we had the sweetest birthday morning celebration! Here is a picture of some of the birthday festivities this morning :D

Taylor is celebrating with some fun party games this week! Today we are playing TicTacToe - check out this fun game and play along and you could win some fun prizes! Please check out Taylor's blog for more details!

So let's celebrate with some crafty projects!!!To start off with I used the previously released dies called Totally Tags from Taylored Ecpressions with the to be released stamp set: Totally Tags - Occasions - which has so many cute stamp images and for my project, I used the sweet litttle onesie. I have SO many friends who are having babies this year! Two of whom were just born this week!!! So I made a set of tags that I could tie to the present along with a little card created from the Bracket Notecard die which creates the cutest little card! Here is picture of my complete project featuring the sweet little onesie in this stamp set!!

I love all the sweet little babies who will be born this year and can't to hold them. Here is a little Bracket Notecard die that creates the cutest card - I paper pieced the little onesie in the middle and then adorened the sides of it with some pearls and ribbon
I made the individual tags in the same way, using the Labels Stacklets 3 tag for the tag basis and then adorned the sides with liquid pearls and a ribbon on the top - here is a closer peek:

I did exactly the same thing for the blue tags - check them out :
Here is another shot of all the tags - they were so fun to make! I love giving the new moms something handmade and special and was so happy to use this image from this set - i LOVE all the sentiments from this set - esp. this cute onesie!

PROJECT #2

For my second project, I used the brand new cutting plate: Party Banner cutting plate for the outside and used the Party Banner Border die for this card by pairing it up with the birthday cake from the totally occasions stamp set. I colored each of the pennants with copics to create some variety then pasted the birthday cake image from the Totally Tags - Occasions stamp set in the frame provided with some bling sprinkled about!

For the inside of the card, I used the Party Banner Border die with sentiment from the stamp set: "From Me To You" - love the frame in this stamp set - and I love the sentiments in this set too!

Here is a another picture of the card from a front view  - I LOVE how it turned out - so much fun to create (pennants are fun!) :
