Feb 2016 Taylored Expressions Day 1: Roly Poly Duck and Center Stage Cutting Plate

Hi Everyone!!!

Today starts off  the February Sneak Peeks from Taylored Expressions – woohoo!!! I am so excited about this spring filled release – just creating projects with these soon to be released stamps and dies gave me hope that spring was just around the corner!

Today I have two projects that I created – the first uses the Roly Poly – Duck die – the newest addition to the Roly Poly collection at TE. I decided to have him be part of a little gift bag by using the  Sack It To You die. Love how this turned out

Here is a closer peek at him – I used some Washi tape on the top of the sack and used some Sunflower Felt to cut out his body and wings for a softer look:

Project Ingredients:
Taylored Dies: Roly Poly – Duck, Sack It To You (die), Fringe Border Die
Accessories: Taylored Felt: Sunflower, Premium Cardstock - Potato Chip, Granny Smith, Candy Corn and Oreo, Best Glue Ever, Foam Tape Dimensional

For my second project, I created a stage using the Center Stage Cutting Plate and created a spotlight to shine on the Easter Bunny himself J by using the stamps and dies from the If Bunnies Could Talk stamp set:

I used some Red Hot felt for the curtains and then tied them back with some twine and used the Small Scallop border die as a another curtain border over the top - Here is a closer peek:

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: If Bunnies Could Talk stamp and die combo,
Taylored Dies: Center Stage Cutting Plate die, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Fringe Border die, Band It Die and Small Scallop Border die
Inks: Memento London Fog, Tuxedo Black, Cantaloupe, Dandelion and copics
Premium Cardstock: Cherry Pop, Truffle, Snow White
