Hi Everyone!
Guess what!?! The Verve New Release Spotlights have started and the Verve Divas are kicking it off by previewing samples from three different stamp sets that will be released on Friday! These three sets are: Amazing Wishes, Wordy Birds and Wild Flower Plain Jane.
The Amazing Wishes stamp set comes with such beautiful sentiments and flowers and the Wordy Birds comes with the cutie birds and sweet sentiments - I couldn't decide which stamp set to use for today's card - so I made a card with both of the stamp sets :))))
I combined the cute little birdie and sweet font on the sentiment: "Thinking of You" from the stamp set Wordy Bird" with the awesome flowers from the Amazing Wishes stamp set. I love the sentiments, along with the cute flowers and sweet wordy birds.
Card Ingredients:
Paper: Bo Bunny and scraps - (cardstock from Bazzill)
Stamps: Amazing Wishes and Wordy Birds from Verve Stamps
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: EK success (Large and small scalloped punch), Adirondack liquid pearls, bling from stash, buttons from stash, twine, Cuttlebug dots folder, beads from stash, red lined tape for the ribbons and dimensionals.
I made the nest by cutting a circle in half, lining it with the edge of the ribbon and then putting a ton if liquid peals on the nest. It was then popped onto dimensionals and I added the birdie to the embossed background that cut out a Vintage Oval die. I added the sentiment: thinking of you, to the Sweet Scalloped die, from which I strung out little wee beads.
I loved making this card and can't wait to see all the different creations the the Veve Divas have created with these beautiful stamp sets!!!
