Its Friday and its time to Par-taaay!!! Julee will be releasing some amazing new stamp sets tonight - don't miss out on all the fun!!!
Today is the second day of the Verve New Release Spotlights where today the Verve Divas are previewing the awesome new stamp set that Julee has created called" Text Objects" - I love this stamp set - it makes it so easy to create the awesomest text background and the sentiments are simply awesome - perfect for friendship, love, thinking of you and everything in between! I love the sentiments and the loveliest heart images. The blog hop today is starting over at the amazing Julee's blog - and if you are coming over from the blog of the awesomest Jackie Pedro then you are on the right track!
I wanted to use the awesome sentiment: "Where there is love, there is life" - Gandhi (this stamp set is also repeated into a long text stamp that can be stamped as a background). There are lots of awesome text stamp sets and coordinating bigger stamp sets. The gorgeous heart stamps (2 sizes) can be both colored and paper pieced - I used both sizes of the heart stamps and paper pieced them using some of the DP. Using some embroidery floss, I created a little hanging heart ornament and paired the sentiment with the Sweet Scalloped Die and some more of the paper pieced hearts.
Here is a close up of the sentiment and ribbons - I did love adding just a tiny bit of liquid pearls :) and also added some flowing golden ribbon twine from the Sweet Scalloped Die and over the ribbon.

Accessories: Adirondack Liquid Pearls, EK success scallop punches, eyelet and cropadile, gray embroidery floss, EK success frame die, green pearls, bling and ribbon from stash and dimensionals
I simply adore these hearts and all of the awesomest sentiments in this set!! I can't wait to go and make some more cards! This card has to take the blue ribbon for eye candy! I love the gentle swirl of the lacy ribbon piece, and the liquid pearls especially. Great set and wonderful card.
