KW Color Inspriation #45 - Just Because (TECC59)

Did I mention earlier how happy I am that today is friday ?? So happy that I sat down and made my second card of the day, this time using Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge #45 - which is to make a monochromatic card using the colors: Basic Black, Basic Gray and Whisper White. I haven't made a monochromatic card in awhile, so I was happy to jump into this challenge!

I used the same sketch from this morning's card to make this card, which is Taylor's Sketch #59  (i love Taylor's sketches!) and I also used Taylor's newest stamp set: Branching Out. , which as you probably know by now, I completely adore and LOVE!! had a lot of fun stamping and cutting and pasting... talk about stamp therapy! I don't know about you guys, but this week has been insane in the membrane (and now, that song is stuck in my head) anyhooo... I am so happy to be done with the work week and have some play time :)

Card details:
Sketch: TECC59
Paper: Beautiful handmade black tissue paper - sooo pretty and so thin - it was hard to cut it  - it was so pretty - but no use being so pretty stuck in my paper drawer :), white cardstock from stash, grey DP is from DCVW
Ink: Stazon Black
Accessories: Kaiser Pearl drops, black liquid pearls, stickles, copic C3 (my one and only, lol!), pearl button embellie, ribbon sheer from stash, corner rounder

So, who is this card for? My DH! I hope he likes it :) He has been such a trooper this week helping me out - and I just wanted to show him a little love :) Its so nice to make cards for him because he totally loves looking at them...and that makes everything so worth it!

I hope that all of you are having a wonderful friday and that it is full of fun, relaxation and laughter!

Thank you so much for visiting my little corner :)
Ciao for now,
Sankari :)

Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #58 - Sentimentaly Spring

Good Sunday Morning and Happy Spring Forward!!!

I don't know about you guys - but the Spring time change (springing one hour ahead - always throws me off! I woke up today and wondered - wait a minute how is it already 8am ... where did the time literally fly off too??!

In celebration of the Spring forward time change and also the fact that it must mean that spring is on the way (thank goodness! winter in iowa is not the easiest of seasons!) I made a little Happy Spring card! Here is another awesome sketch from Taylor from her Friday Cupcake Challenge #58. It's been one year since Taylor opened her store Taylored Expressions and in honor of that - Taylor is celebrating with party favors, prizes and gifts - go on and check it out!

I made a card for this challenge using Taylor's sketch and her color challenge from Thursday. I love these colors together - it reminds me of a fruit sorbet medley. I made this Happy Spring card for one of my friends who I am going to see later on today for a little girl's afternoon out!

I made a little mini library card style holder for each ofthe square elements in alternating colors from the challenge that Taylor had posted on Thursday (all you have to do is create a card with the colors from this post, upload it to Paper Craft Planet with the keyword tecolorchallenge and you are eligible to win the Birthday Boy Key Ingredients set - which is a wonderful set of heavy duty cardstock, beautiful and bright DP and coordinating brads and glitter ). Who doesn't love a chance to score some free DP and paper and embellies!!

In each of the boxes I put a little sentiment from Taylor's stamp sets punched with a Fiskar's tag punch. I thought it would be fun to have an interactive kind of card. The main kind of theme that I was going for - was a celebration of Spring card --- just because :)

The square elements were punched out and folded in the alternating colors from Taylor's color challenge. I inked the sentiments in SU! Rose Ted with the top and bottom sentiments reading: Celebrate and the middle row reading: just because (this sentiment is from Taylor's newest stamp set - Branching Out - I love this set and this sentiment - because sometimes you need a "just because" kind of card :). The very middle sentiment reads: Happy Spring! Yay! I can't wait for Spring! I am so excited to get out of all these layers of winter clothes!!!

The sentiments read: Celebrate (from the Year of Senitments) and Just Because (from the Branching Out set) and in the middle square element it reads: Happy Spring (from Year of Sentiments). I thought it would be kind of fun for her to pull out the little sentiments.

Card Details: Paper: Paper from the scrap stash
Ink: Rose Red (SU!)
Stamps: Year of Sentiments (Celebrate stamp and Happy Spring) and Sweet Spring: (Just because)
Accessories: Liquid Pearls, silver pen, bling, hearts from K & Company, Guva Grosgrain Ribbon (Taylored Expressions), Fiskar's tag punch.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Don't forget to check out Taylor's awesome birthday bash!!

Thank you so much for visiting my little corner,
Ciao for now,
Sankari :)

Taylored Expressions - Day Two of Sneak Peeks!!!

Good Wednesday Morning!!!

Tomorow is the big day when Taylor will release her newest cupcake stamps and her new line of stamps called Whimsical Wished by stamp designer Nancy McKinney of Card Worthy. Today I am sooo psyched and honored to be able to bring you some more sneak peeks from her newest Cuppie set called: Sweet Spring!

All I have are 2 words to describe this newest set: fabulously adorable!!! I just love this newest set - there are so many adorable and yummy images of Cuppie!! - this stamp set is such a great way to hippity hop right into spring!!!!

One of my newest fave images of Cuppie is with bunny ears! Okay - first of all - I think cupcakes are adorable, but then put ears on them!! that's taking adorable to a whole other level!!! LOVE it!! I made a card using Taylor's Friday Cupcake Sketch # 44 - this is one of my most favorite sketches (you can click here to see all the previous Cupcake Friday challenges and previous sketches too!).
I love this cute little bunny cuppie - I mean - he is just adorable!!! I stamped them onto this amazing cardstock called Choice White that Taylor has at her store - it is absolutely wonderful paper to use for coloring your images ( 25 sheets of 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock in a sturdy 100lb weight) I colored them with my Prisma Color Pencils, and it felt so smooth - like butter -- or buttercream frosting on a cupcake :)
This card was super simple to make - all the elements of this card come from Taylored Expressions in a kit that will also be releasing on Thursday called: Easter Key Ingredients set - this package comes with a set of papers and matching and coordinating DP, brads, and coordinating ribbon. And also these awesome awesome felt flowers that I am now officially in love with... so cute!! I love these papers and I love how quickly this card came together, when you have matching everything - which always helps when you are crafting with two kids under the age of 4 and you are trying to do everything quickly :)

Card Details:
Paper: All paper is from the Easter Key Ingredients kit that will be available tomorrow
Ink: Stazon-Black ink
Stamps: Taylored Expessions: Sweet Spring set (available tomorrow)
Accessories: Square punches from Creative Memories, Scalloped Punch from SU!, Stickles (star dust), Liquid Pearls, 1"circle punch, dimensionals.

I couldn't stop at one cupcake card - (how can anyone just eat one cupcake?? :) Here is a quick little treat box that I made in 11.75 minutes (yes, I timed myself because I wanted to be able to tell you how long it took :) - This is a favor box (its called Bride) that is offered at the Taylored Expressions store (for only .50/apiece !!! - 10 required for a minimum order). My daughter was born on Easter almost two years ago and I was thinking that for her upcoming birthday party - that these would be cute favor boxes to give out to her little friends :)

I LOVE that the template is already pre-scored and cut out - all you have to do is fold it! I folded away, stamped the sentiment, punched it out with my scallop punch, adhered a strip of the designer paper from the Easter Key Ingredients set - added some stickles and liquid pearls and Voila!
But then, I thought - hmmm... this could look like a bunny ... so I quickly drew some ears and adhered them on and then -- again Voila :) LOL! I thought that it would be kinda cute to have it as a set to give to someone - a card and a matching favor box:

Last night when I was cleaning up my craft desk, I just had to make one more card - these images are just toooo cute not to be inked up !!! Here is one that I made using Julee's Mojo Monday Sketch #76... I love the elements of the sketch , so I stopped cleaning (that wasn't hard!!! lol!!) and started stamping again. I used all the elements in the Easter Key Ingredients that is releasing Thursday and stamped the images with Staz-On black and then colored them with my Prisma Color Pencils onto the Choice White cardstock - which was a total pleasure to color on!
Card Details:
Paper: All paper is from the Easter Key Ingredients kit that will be available tomorrow
Ink: SU! Rose Red
Stamps: Taylored Expessions: Sweet Spring set (available tomorrow)
Accessories: Prisma colored pencils, Circle punches from Creative Memories, Felt flowers and brads and ribbons are all from the Easter Key Ingredients kit available tomorrow, Stickles (star dust), Liquid Pearls, dimensionals, corner rounder, basket weave texture plate Sissix.

I couldn't decide on a sentiment - they are all tooooo cute... I stamped three different sentiments - but then had to go with this one : "wishing you a sweet spring" - because it is just too darn cute! I also added some of the felt flowers in the kit and lots of Stardust stickles which always adds glitter drama (as one of my dear friends calls it :).
All of these yummy stamp sets, cardstock, key ingredients sets will be available tomorrow !!! Woo-hoo!!!

Taylored Expressions - Day One of Sneak Peeks!!!

Good Tuesday Morning!!!

ITS SNEAK PEEK TIME!!!! (and also - another long post!!!! I can't help it! I am so excited to be on Taylor's awesome Design Team and be able to show some projects that I made using one of her stamp sets that will be releasing this Thursday, March 5th!

As you probably read yesterday on Taylor's blog, Taylored Expressions is branching out in more ways than one (not to worry, she is still providing LOTS of cute cuppie stamps to satisfy that crafting sweet tooth!!!) but she is also welcoming her new stamp designer Nancy Mckinney of Card Worthy (Nancy is uber talented and totally rocks my socks off with her beautiful banner creations!) These projects are sneak peeks from Nancy's new line of stamps called Whimsical Wishes! This is a Brand New line of stamps that include two adorable new sets to kick off the new Whimsical Wishes line: they are called Branching Out and Branching Out Coordinates.

Today also marks the creation of the Taylored Expressions Giving Tree, where Taylored Expressions will be donating the proceeds from sales of these two new sets to a wonderful charity - Eden Projects. There will be new stamp sets introduced quarterly for this on-going charitable program. Eden Projects is an amazing organization - their mission statement from their website states: "Eden Reforestation Projects recreates healthy forest systems that restore hope, alleviate suffering, empower people, and build local economies in impoverished communities." They show the direct link between reforestation and empowerment of the people. I love that we can be part of this vision through donating the proceeds of the sales of these two new sets!

I love living in our town, where the community is very focused on sustainable living and local grown organic foods. So many of my friends are creating programs to make sustainable living easily accessible to all. It is such a joy to plant this seed of the importance of taking care of our Earth into my children and doing all the little things that can ensure that the environment, world that they grow up in will be green and beautiful and peaceful. One of the projects on my list this spring is to plant some fruit trees in our backyard with the kids - I can't wait for the weather to spring-ify!!!!

Speaking of trees :) How about a few sneak peeks from these awesome stamp sets? In this first card, I used Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #57 - I truly loved loved loved making this card!!! It is truly such a whimsical stamp set and its so easy to create something fun with all the elements in this set!
The front of the card says "Knock Knock" with a little wood pecker knocking on the tree and when you open the card
the inside shows a little cute owl sitting on a branch saying: "Whoo's there?"

I LOVE that these stamp sets have these "Knock knock" and "Whoo's there ?" sentiment's! The possibilities are just endless!!!!

Details for this card:
Paper: They are all from my stash (I am trying to whittle down the scrap stash so that I can get more new papers!! yay!
Ink: Martha Brown, Stazon Olive Green and Black (sponged with Brocade Blue and So Saffron)
Stamps: Branching Out (Whimsical Wishes) by Taylored Expressions
Accessories: Stardust Stickles, Liquid Pearls, Dimensionals, corner rounder (also used it for scalloped border on the inside of the card

And I couldn't stop just making one card - I just love the versatility of these sets!!! This card - I have to admit is one of my favorites :) I LOVE that these sets have a tire swing and a wooden swing!!! Tooooo cute!!!!!! Here's a little scene that I created using various elements from the sets:

Details for this card:

Paper: All from stash yay! The green grass/tree DP is from K & Company
Ink: SU! Artichoke green
Stamps:
Stamps: Branching Out (Whimsical Wishes) by Taylored Expressions
Accessories:
Stardust Stickles, Liquid Pearls, Circle punches from Creative Memories, Dimensionals, corner rounder, Ribbon - Guava Grosgrain from Taylored Expressions (this ribbon is so yummy - I want to eat it!!), flower brad from Making Memories

And yes, there's more! Susanna Boyd of PaperCraftPlanet is heading the 3D Tuesday challenge and today's challenge is to create a ....birdhouse !!! Well, I had to make a birdhouse because it was simply just SO perfect with this stamp set!!!

Susanna provides a template that you can print on DP with scoring and cutting lines provided . It was simply easy, peasy - which is always a plus - you have to try it - they are sooo much fun and I betcha - you will want to make more than one - they are that fun! After you make them, you can upload them to PaperCraftPlanet with the tag 3d2 and we can see all the cute birdhouse projects in one place!! Here are two versions of this birdhouse which I totally CASED from Susanna! (love you Susanna!!!)

The first one I thought could coordinate with my second card - where you can give someone a little gift of a card and a little 3D project along with it.

The second birdhouse has the roof open on one side where you can insert little treats and the sentiment reads Thank you. I can totally see making a ton of these little birdhouses as favor boxes - I recessed the knot hole in the tree and then popped the cute little owl so that he was kind of peeking ut from his little home...

The roof on this birdhouse only is adhered on one side so that it can raise up on the other side where you can put a tasty treat - I put some Hershey's minitures inside my little favor birdhouse - it can fit upto four.... but I only had one left by the time I finished the project.... hmmm :) I wonder where it went! LOL! :)

Here are both the birdhouses together --- I wanted to keep on making more --- they are just so absolutely FUN to make! And absolutely perfect with these adorable new stamp sets!!!

I absolutely ADORE this new line of sets from Whimsical Wishes! You can do so many different projects from creating a fun friendship card to creating a thank you card to let people know how much they mean to you. And the whole time - you are supporting a wonderful organization (Eden Projects) which is helping to empower the people, one tree at a time. Please check out their inspiring website here.

Don't Forget to check out Taylor's awesome blog with her sneak peeks and also all the beautiful and awesome creations from The Baker's Dozen Design Team!!! You will just fall in love with these stamp sets just as we have!!!!

Lots of Cupcakes and Some Exciting NEWS!!!!

Happy Monday Morning Everyone,

Okay - apology in advance: This is going to be one, big long post! Ged ready!!!

Happy March !!! Just a quick shout out to my highschool buddy Lisa and my dear blogging friend and fellow PaperCraftPlanet DT, Tammy Hersberger of Stamp Happy Tammy - both of whom celebrated their birthdays yesterday! Happy Birthday lovely ladies!!! I have been a slacker in sending out birthday cards - I love making them - but its always hard to go to the Post Office with two kids - it always ends up the same - either one or both of them end up in a puddle of tears on the post office floor... and speaking of March - I suddenly wondered how is it suddenly March - time is just flying by! Speaking of time flying by - are you ready for a Christmas card?!! LOL! I am part of a group called Christmas Stampin' All Year Long, that was started by one of my dear blogger friends Maria Bell of Stampin Inspirations, where we create Christmas cards and projects weekly throughout the year. Maria sends us a sketch or a challenge requirement for the challenge and it is so much fun to not only make a card but see everyone else's beautiful cards! I love doing this because it allows me to avoid the Christmas insanity of making a billion xmas cards just before mailing it out right before xmas.

This week's challenge was a sketch challenge and also a requirement challenge where we were supposed to use at least 3 "eyelets" as the main embellishment - (no ribbons, no brads, no primas, nothing else) with the sketch. I am so happy that this was the challenge - because truth be told - I am not a big eyelets fan - its just so much easier to put a brad through... but after I make a card with an eyelet - I am always like -- hey - I should use these more often! LOL!

Here's Maria's awesome sketch:

And here is my card based on the sketch and challenge requirement (I kept wanting to put ribbon on the card and had to actually resist the impulse a few times to keep within the challenge requirement of only using eyelets for embellishments).

I totally loved every single second of making this card. I had sooo much fun - my DH took the kids out and I cranked my fave mix and stamped away! This stamp set is from Taylored Expressions... and as some of you know - I am in love love love with her stamps - they are just too cute!

This image comes from Taylor's Year of Sweets 3 set and the paper is from her Christmas Key Ingredients. This cute cuppie was stamped with Stazon-Black onto water color paper (thanks to my friend S. who recommend which kinds to buy ;) I painted everything (created a little scene for Cuppie with a wall, table, and a candle on the mantle) and then paper pieced the rest - there are a lot of dimensionals (on the letter to Santa, cookies) for a bit of depth. The sentiment is from the set A Year of Sweet Sentiments. I put the eyelets as hooks for the stockings.

Join the fun by making your Christmas card based on the sketch/requirement challenge and link your blog to the post on the Christmas Stampin All Year Round site, where your card will be also posted in the group's photo album.

So now for some really exciting news - I am just so excited! Seriously - I have been on cloud 9 or cloud 99!!!!! I almost dropped on the floor and fainted when Taylor VanBruggen asked me to join her Baker's Dozen Design Team!!!!!!!!!! I had to pinch myself a few times! I have totally been in love with Taylor's company and her Friday Cupcake sketch challenges and all her cute Cuppie stamps and so it was just a dream come true!!! And I couldn't believe the Design Team that she has assembled - these ladies do amazing work and I am so honored to be part of this wonderful company and team!!! Thank you so much Taylor!! (I still have to pinch myself!!!) Please check out all the members of the Baker's Dozen Design Team here.

Taylor is releasing her newest stamp sets this week! And trust me they are just tooooo cute!!! Tuesday starts our preview fiesta where all the ladies on the Design Team will be showing some sneak peeks from the new release!!!

I wanted to show some more of her cute cute cute cupcake stamps and realized that I haven't yet posted all the cupcake cards that I made for her one year anniversary where she had a challenge for us to do 9 sketches - so I thought I would post them here. The funny thing is that I was trying to get them done before the deadline in January - but the deadline was the day that we were to leave for Florida - but did I pack instead of stamping? No way! Not when there are cutie cupcakes involved!!! LOL! I got it done just in the deadline - and then went off to hurriedly pack! In the middle of travelling and vacationing - I didn't post these - so here are my 9 cuppie inspired cards - you can read more about Taylor's One year Celebration of the Friday Cupcake Challenge here.

These two cards below I have already previously posted - but I thought I would keep all 9 together -so here they are again :). This one I already posted here and it is from Taylor's Friday Cupcake challenge #52.

This little guy I aready posted here using Vickie Chrisman - but had to post him again :)

Are you hungry for a cucpake yet? I totally am! Nothing like a cupcake and chai for breakfast --- now, all I have to do is get out of my pajamas and make some!

Thank you so much Taylor for this awesome opportunity! Please check out her awesome company Tayored Expressions and her simply sweet blog and check out all the awesome ladies in the Baker's Design Team!

Thank you all so much for visiting my little corner in the cyber world - I am so happy to be blogging again (after almost a month of being away from home) and its so great to meet so many new friends and catch up with all my awesome blogging friends!! Thank you all for always inspiring me!!!!

Cupcake hugs and sunshiney smiles :)

Sweet Tooth Friday

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Hope you guys are ready for a long post - this post is filled with sugary sweets! I always look forward to Fridays for a few reasons - and one of them is to check out Taylor's sketch for her Friday Cupcake Challenge #50. Above is her sketch #50 and I love it it - what a fun sketch. Well, I got right on it - this morning as my daughter napped. Here is my take on her sketch:

In my head the owls are both trying to get the squirrel to give them the cupcake - Who loves you? LOL! It was funny in my head - and that's when you know that you are addicted to stamps - when they make you laugh :)
I loved stamping up these cute little owls - and I am so grateful for my little daughter for taking a nice nap today so that mommy could get some stamp time in :) Maybe its because my New Year's Resolution was to stay away from sugary sweetness that I went nuts and made 4 more cards with cupcakes or cakes on them! I sooo wanted to eat a cupcake but instead I thought I would stamp them... All these four cards below are made for Julee Tilman's Verve Release: Looking For Love. This is a fantastic new release - that you have to check out. Julee challenged us to try to complete all 4 challenges - and I was up for the challenge to get my mojo going again :)

Julee's first challenge was a color challenge to use the colors of red riding hood, kraft and blush blossom. I had to try Lynn's technique this week over at SCS to use tack strips and glitter - boy, was she right when she suggested to make this card when you are not around kids or pets!! I got a ton of sparkles all over me - but hey - who doesn't love that!

(The papers are from DCVW, Glitter from Taylored Expressions, red grosgrain ribbon, SU stamp (not sure from where, buttons from stash, crystal stickles, corner rounder and dimensionals) Below is a card made for the second sketch challenge - I loved these cupcakes and cute little birdie from Hero Arts. I started out with one cupcake (I loved these three colors and paper and I pieced three to figure out which combo I like - but ended up liking all three...so I just ended up stacking them all :)

(The DP is from K&CO, cardstock from DCVW, liquid pearls, sponge, corner rounder for scallops). This next card was made for the third sketch challenge and for this challenge, I made this Let It Snow cuppie from Taylor's stamps - I realized that this little guy had not yet been inked - and that is just not right!!! This cute little cuppie is from TayIor's Season's Sweetings set . I created a little scene for cuppie with some threading and liquid pearls. Both the dark and light teal cardstock are super glittery and so this card is very sparkly IRL.. (the papers are from DCVW, the ribbon from K&CO., Martha Stewart snowflake punch, bling from stash, liquid pearls).

This is last card made for the fourth sketch and can I just tell you that I just adore this image - from Taylor's Love is Sweet set, I mean .. two cuppies smooching -- toooo cute! LOVE it! I made this card using Stacy's Jewelry Color Inspiration #18. The colors for this week's challenge was to make a card using apricot appeal, chocolate chip, pink passion, pink pirouette and certainly celery. If you haven't checked out her blog - please go over for a visit! Loved these colors! I paper pieced the cuppies,  added a little stickles on her cheek and added a little liquid pearl accent on the bottom. (paper from DCVW and stash, ribbon from stash - and the brad is been in my possession for 2 years - so glad I finally used it!!!)
hmmm... its official - I love stamping with cupcakes :) Actually, anything with cupcakes is just adorable!!
As our son says: "Who doesn't like cupcakes?" !!! (I know, right!??!!) Here is a cute little pic of some pajamas that my MIL bought for our daughter.... love the little frosting by her lips - the shirt says: I love cupcakes! Speaking of which, I am off for a little walk with my two little cupcakes :)

Another reason I love Fridays is that we do our Friday Sneak Peeks over at our Cinema Challenge blog - see if you can guess which movie we are going to pick for tomorrow's cinema inspired card from the sneak peek that is posted there!!!

Have a wonderful Friday my friends!!! May it be filled with cupcakes, cakes and all sorts of sweet wonderfulness!!!

Thanks so much for visiting!!!
Ciao for now,
Sankari :)

Paper Craft Planet Sketch Challenge!

Hi Everyone,

You might have heard that Pluto is not considered a planet anymore (what's up with that??!!) But don't worry - there is a new Planet in town that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better: it is called Paper Craft Planet and it is the creation of Susanna Boyd of Card of the Week. Susanna does such an amazing service to the paper crafting community in her site Card of the Week - because she goes through hundreds of blogs and even more posts and puts it all together in her site - its is such a great way to see what amazing things people have made and are up to.

In that same way, Paper Craft Planet takes this to a whole new interactive networking level and is an online community for papercrafters that is filled with familiar faces, a chance to meet new friends and is an amazing new way to draw inspiration from each other, share photos, videos tutorials to all things paper crafted.

In one week, the number of people who have joined has jumped from 500 members to 2500!!!! There are numerous Stamp Companies that have created groups and are doing fun give aways and challenges - You have to check it out and it is so easy to join and get started in the fun - click here to get started (if you haven't already) !!!

This week, Susanna is hosting a sketch challenge - (below is
her fun sketch). Sakura is offering a prize for two lucky winners - all you have to do is to create something crafty with this sketch that expresses the theme of thanks or gratitude and then go over to Paper Craft Planet and link it up to the sketch (use the keyword: Sk110808 when you upload so that everyone can see your work in the gallery!) When you are done also leave Susanna a link to your creation on her blog and you are automatically entered to win another prize from Sakura!

I made two cards for this challenge.

The first draws its color inspiration from the lovely ladies at the Color Throwdown.
This week's colors were Old Olive, Chocolate Chip and Pale Plum.
The center flowers are from Handmade Heart (felt flowers) and are layered on a scallop punch and a 2"punch on dimensionals. The lavendar buttons race to outerskirts of the circle, which are followed by an outline of liquid pearl dots.

The ribbon is from Offray, the cardstock from the Paper Company. The bottom edge is corner rounded as are the dies of the images. I threaded a ribbon through the center and added a little chocolate button. The little thank you tag was hand written and was punched out from a Fiskars Tag punch and then adhered onto the cardstock.

The second card draws inspiration from the lovely ladies at the OCC (Our Creative Corner) - where the challenge this week was to draw inspiration from a holly inspired Martha stewart cupcake. Well, I just can't pass up a cupcake challenge - and Taylor is the guest designer, so I had to play! The card for this week's challenge uses her new stamps from the Stamp a Sweet Impression line (this reindeer cupcake is from the Home Sweet Home set).

paper pieced the reindeer and put a little red sequin as the cherry/nose and red stickles for the glow lines. The Icut ovet the larger circles with CM cutting system. The papers are from the Paper Company and DCWV. I added some cotton uff dots as snow, embossed the sentiment Let it Snow in white RP and then added some white liquid pearl dots to one side of the cirlce. The scalloped edge of the circle is from a mini scalloped punch from Martha. The center circle is raised up on dimensionals and for a little touch, I added an ornament to the sweet little reindeer's nose.

These cards were so much fun to make - I really enjoyed the process :) Can't wait to see all the fun creations that everyone has made - don't forget to check out Paper Craft Planet - and also stop by see what our pick is for the Cinema Challenge Creative Challenge for this week.

Thanks for coming to visit!
Ciao for now,
Sankari :)
