Bisous Pour Toi - Kisses for You Card :))))

Happy Monday Everyone!

I am so excited for January - for alot of reasons (one reason has 3 letters in it: CHA :) and also because I am the guest designer for Fire Cracker Designs by Pamela for this month! Thank you so much Pamela (and Libby) for this great opportunity! I used the lovely set Parisian Romance to create my card for today - I absolutely love this Eiffel Tower stamp and the sentiment that is half in English and half in French: (Bisous Pour Toi, Kisses For You).

I am usually more of a bright color kind of girl - but for this card, I wanted to create something softer and romantic - I used sweet pink paper from Teresa Collins. Here is a closer peek at the card
Card Ingredients:
Paper: Teresa Collins
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and LadyBug Red
Accessories: Circle punch CM, Scallop punch from SU, EK success punches, ribbon from stash, bling from Kaiser, hearts from K&Co, corner rounder, I forgot where the key is from and Sakura glaze pens and sponger.

I had so much fun creating this Parisian Valentine :) And I think I know just the perfect person to give it to!!! ;) You can check out more about Firecracker Designs here and also on Pamela's sweet blog!!! And Pamela is generously giving all of you who are reading this $2 off the purchase of the Parisian Romance stamps set when using the coupon code "sankari" :) Thank You so much Pamela!!!

And thank you so much for stopping by today!
Hope you are all doing well!
Big hugs!!!
Sankari :)

2 Sketches 4 You - Laura's sketch #34 - All the Goodness of Life

Good Morning Everyone,

Its time for another new sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You and today Laura has an awesome sketch #34 for us to play with. This week's sponser over at 2 Sketches 4 You is Scor It and I was so excited to work with my Scor-it because it was my first time using it!!! (You can check out the wonderful gallery of projects and ideas at www.scorit.com it is seriously packed with inspiration!!! ) It kind of looked a little intimidating to work with - but then once I started scoring things - I couldn't stop - I actually had to say to myself - "you have to put the scorer down - just walk away".... What I found out is that it is SOOO much fun to score and make such wonderful designs and even a way to create envelopes!! Awesome!!!
I scored my card every quarter inch both horizontally and vertically to create a little grid and scored a little design on the envelope for a little fun :)

Card Details:
Paper: Teresa Collins
Ink: Stazon Black
Stamps: Delightful and Delicious from Verve
Accessories; Ribbon from stash,  pearls from K&Company, spellbinders, circle cutter from CM, scallop punch from Martha

I am so inspired by the Scor It - I can't wait to try and create more projects from it !!!
THanks for stopping by and Hope you have a chance to play along with us!
Happy Monday!
Sankari :)

2 Sketches 4 You - Groovey Owlies

Good Morning Everyone,

I can hardly believe its Thursday already - when did that happen? Yesterday has been filled with errands, dentists appts for little wee ones who won't sit still, doing laundry from camping (ugh!) and unpacking... (still not fully unpacked! - does it take you guys forever to unpack - it always seems to me that there are more clothes coming back then going... :). Even though we got home
Mon. night - I had to wait till Tuesday afternoon after work
to get our mail from our neighbor who has been holding it while we were gone and I was b-e-y-o-n-d pysched when I saw a big
package of yumminess from the wonderful ladies at 2 Sketches 4 You!   I let out a big Whoooooop!

Thank you so much Laura and Kazan and beautiful DT for the wonderful sketches and encouragement during the Ultimate Card Showdown - I am still in happy shock :)!!! It was such a total
blast!! I was so psyched to open my package - but I wanted to take a quick picture - so I ran home to get my camera and had my neighbor snap a quick pic - I was so excited that I opened it right at her house! - lol!!! She was cracking up at my shrieks of delight :) She told me I was speaking a different language when I was explaining to her what the different products were - lol!
I couldn't wait to make a card with the yummy goodies! And so here is a quick card I made using Laura's sketch 31 and I used the
yummy papers from Teresa Collins and cut out the little black swirlie patterns on the paper from the package to go on either side of the oval - I loved stamping and coloring these cutie pie owlies from Inky Antics - seriously there is just something about owls that is just so adorable. I popped the side swirlies on dimensionals and added a little bit of yellow bling on the sides. I loved making this little owlie card and can't wait to ink up the rest of the owlies - they are such a hoot! (sorry couldn't resist! ;) Here is my card for Laura's sweet sketch:

Card Details:
Ink: Stazon Black and Martha Brown
Stamps: Groovy Owls - Owl Trio from Inky Antics
Accessories: Martha punch, ribbon from Taylored Expressions, bling from K&Company, oval cutters from Creative Memories prisma color pencils,

Well, I am off to the exciting and glamorous world of finishing laundry, lol!! A huge thank you and even HUGER HUGS to the lovely ladies over at 2 Sketches 4 You and I am so glad I am back from our vacation so I can get back into the crafting corner and catch up and get to come over and visit all of you!
