Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #268 - Happy Mother's Day

Hi Everyone!!

Happy Sunday! Hope that you have been having a great weekend! Sunday means its time for another awesome Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge sketch! YAY! So stay in your jammies grab a cup of coffee and join in for some crafty fun :)  In honor of Mother's Day today, I created a card a Happy Mother's Day card. I love these tilted panels in a sketch - they always add a little fun zing into card making! I used the Stamped Simply - Zinnia stamp set from Taylored Expressions:

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Rose from New Beginnings stamp set and sentiment from the Simply Stamped - Zinnia stamp set from TE
Paper: Sugar Cube (TE), Red Pepper (TE) and DP from stash
Inks: Lady Bug Red, Tangelo, Cantaloupe
Taylored Dies:  Leafy Branch die, Floral Vine Embossing Folder and Lots of Dots embossing folder
Accessories: liquid pearls,, white gel pen, foam dimensional, Best Glue Ever

I added some leaves from the Leafy Branch Die to the rose that I popped up with some dimensional foam tape after stamping it with two ink colors. There are so many mother figures in my life, aunties, godmothers, my wonderful mother and mother-in-law, and amazing friends who are such inspiring mamas. Happy mother's day to all - and special thoughts to those who have lost their mom, or have heartbreak around mother's day - much love

Taylored Expressions: May Release Day: You've Got Mail: Patriotic

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Release Day at Taylored Expressions! There are so many fun stamps, dies and DP/cardstock that are being released today! For my project today, I created a fun little card using the You've Got Mail series of stamp sets and being released this month is the You've Got Mail- Patriotic. I used the Matched Kit: Summer Nights for this card for all the papers and cardstock. I wanted to give a little sky for the mail box so I sponged a cloud scene behind it using the Cloud Border die and then added it onto the background that I embossed using the Corrugated Embossing Folder that will be released today:

Here is a close up look at the card: I used the sentiment: "Thank you for your service" - I made this specially for my fatherinlaw who is a marine and an inspiration. I added little Sequins: Summer Nights to the pennant border for a little bit of sparkle :)

I loved making all the cards for this month's release - so much fun - and so many new dies and stamps that the possibilities leave my head spinning!!!

Taylored Expressions: May Sneak Peeks Day3: Build A Tag 4 and RSVP

Hi Everyone!!

Happy 3rd day of Sneak Peeks from Taylored Expressions! Today I created a fun tag using the new Build A Tag 4 - which comes with such awesome tag elements hat you can build into  a fun tag. I used the Matched Kit: Summer Nights and used the Patriotic Treat Toppers for the other elements in this tag:

I used the Of Thee I Sing stamp set for the sentiment and put this in between the two treat toppers and used the Little Bits - Pinwheel die for the center thru which the twine goes through:

I also created a little bridal shower invite using the new RSVP stamp set with the Party Dress die and  Hanger Little Bits dies to create the front of the Invitation:

I used the new RSVP stamp set to stamp the inside of the card - I added some hearts on the bottom:
