Verve Stamps: September Diva Inspirations Hop

This month's challenge was Auntumnal Splendor - and I absolutely fell in love because I simply adore this season and couldn't wait to pull out the awesome and beautiful Tall Oaks stamp set which has the most awesome sentiments and super cute and awesome pumpkins and this sentiment; "Tall Oaks from Tiny Acorns grow. - Everett - isn't that just the most perfect sentiment! I created this card for our son's teacher who is doing an amazing job of molding all the tiny acorns in her class into tall and mighty oaks!

I started off stamping the acorn and sentiment - and then cut out the acorn and adhered it onto the Embossed Oval die from a Cut Above dies from Verve Stamps! I adhered it onto the Labels 20 and then adhered some leaves to the sentiment - I love how this turned out - it was a bit tricky because the blue was a little bit strong - but I tried to keep strong colors to a minimum and tried to use more of the white space of the card. Paper: Imaginisce and cardstock from Bazzill.

Stamps: Tall Oaks from Verve Stamps

Inks: Chalk ink Dark brown, Tangelo from Memento inks,

Accessories: EK success leaf punch, MS border punch and AMerican Crafts ribbon :)
