Taylored Expressions Sneak Peek Day 1: Build A Scene Rolling Clouds dies and Ships Ahoy!

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year! Welcome 2015 and Welcome to the first release week of the new year from Taylored Expressions!!! Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

Today, I am peeking two super fun cards that I made and absolutely love (and loved making!) - the first one is a card that is made using the awesome cloud die called: Rolling Clouds die set from TE. I love all the clouds dies from TE and this set of three dies with stitched borders is sure to amaze you! I added some sunshine with the Build A Scene: Sunsine dies and used the new Matched Kit: Build A Scene papers that allows for such fun scenes and a coordinating bottle of sequins. I tried to create an ombre look in the clouds - I just loved making this fun and sunny card!

Here is a close up of the card - I love the stitched outline on the edge of the clouds - I added some sequins and some hearts in the clouds along with the sentiment from the New Petite stamp set with coordinating die called Happy New Home. Here is a close up of the sequins and hearts:

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Happy New Home stamp set for the sentiment from Taylored Expressions
Inks: Memento Teal Zeal ink
Paper Packs: Build A Scene Matched Kit from TE
Taylored Dies: Build A Scene: Rolling Clouds, Build A Scene: Sunshine

Accessories: Foam dimensionals, Corner chomper, White Gel Pen, Orange Twine

For my second project, I created a card using the new Petite stamp set with coordinating die called: Ships Ahoy! I love the sweet boats and sentiment and created a birthday card with the DPs from the Paper Pack: Build a Scene. I tried to create the feel of a nautical porthole:

I created a scene of the waves by cutting up the DP where the waves are and then inserted the ship that I die cut using the coordinating die that it comes with which is so awesome because it die cuts in between the sails - so awesome! I absolutely love this card - these papers are my new favorite thing!!

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Ships Ahoy stamp set from Taylored Expressions
Inks: Memento Love Letter and copics
Papers: Paper Pack Build a Scene from TE
Accessories: Circle Nestabilities, Mini Scallop die, Ship die comes with the Ships Ahoy stamp set, brown buttons, May Arts: Natural Twine, white gel pen, corner chomper, Best Glue Ever and Foam dimensionals

I have loved making these cards!!! Thanks so much for visiting crafty friends! If you would like to see more projects and new product information  - please head over to the TE blog for a complte blog roll of our participating designers.

You do such good work. I enjoy seeing it--when it comes into my mailbox. For some reason I don't get every blog post from you. This happens with about 10 of my blog subscriptions.
