Taylored Expressions April Release Peeks - Day 1: Mama's and Babies

Hi Everyone!!

Happy April!! Can you believe its already April! Are things starting to look green and flowery where you live because it sure is looking like spring here!! This week is also the Taylored Expressions April Release of brand new delicious stamps, dies and papers!!

Taylored Expressions is celebrating Release Week with some fabulous giveaways! Visit the TE Blog each Sneak Peek Day this week for details on how you can enter to win.

To start off with is a super cute stamp set called Little Bits of Baby with such cute sentiments to welcome a brand new baby! I paired it with brand new Little Bits Onesie die and used the awesome new papers from TE called Double the Joy! It is so cute - perfect with papers for both boys and girls - and most of all the papers are so happy! My most favorite part of this stamp set are the awesome sentiments that are also pennants like this "welcome" sentiment which I stamped with two colors and then cut out and created this sentiment: "welcome sweet little one":

Here is a closer peek at the card - it has so many sentiments that you can use with other ones to create your own sentiments - I love how this turned out:

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Little Bits of Baby (TE)
Inks: Memento Tangelo, Cantaloupe, Bamboo Leaves and Sky Blue
Accessories: Little Bits Onesie, heart punch, orange satin ribbon, Label Stacklets 8, embossing dots, Best Glue Ever, Foam Dimensional

I had so much fun creating this second card with the Mama and Me stamp set (with these cute elephants!) and paired it with the My Favorite Mom stamp set. The Mama and Me stamp set has a momma and baby elephant together and to create this card, I stamped the baby elephant two more times and then created this scene where they are all holding each other's tails and following their mama. I had to LOL at this sentiment - its so hilarious!! I made it for my DH to give to my MIL (he is one of three children) and I thought they both would get a chuckle out of it!

Here is a close up of the cute little elephants holding each other's tails - aren't they so cute!! I created a little scene for them using the Build A Scene: Rolling Hills dies, Wispy Grass Border die and the clouds using the Cloud Border die:

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Mama and Me (TE) and My Favorite Mom (TE)
Inks: Memento Tangelo and copics
Papers: Basil Pesto (TE), Pumpkin (TE), Toffee(TE) and Sugar Cube (TE)
Accessories: Wispy Grass Border Die, Clouds Border Die, Corner punch, heart punch, Build A Scene: Rolling Hills die, paper crimper, Best Glue Ever, Foam dimensional tape and Glue Dots

I loved making all of today's cards and all the cards in this release - it is seriously full of such awesome stamp sets, dies and papers!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE blog for a complete blog roll of our participating designers!

And please hop over tomorrow for more release peeks!

Big hugs,
Sankari :)

Sankari,
Both of these cards are darling. I especially like the baby card. The bright color palette and the card shape are fresh. New mom's today while I'm sure still like the pink and blue pastels of the past, are now trending toward modern color palettes. And truth be told, babies respond to primary colors in the nursery more than pastels (true). So this baby card has it all! Very nice. The little elephant card is just precious. Who doesn't say aww every time they see a baby elephant - they're just the cutest. Is that we see human qualities in these sweet little pachyderms?
