Hi Everyone!

Today starts Day 4 of Sneak peeks of this awesome Anni-Verve-Sary Release and today we are previewing two awesome stamp sets:  Sip and Savor and Better with You stamp sets and the awesome From the Heart dies ( this die  will be available exclusively as a free gift with a $35 minimum order through August 31, while supplies last.  {This promotion starts AFTER the sets go live on Friday night, August 12.}). I just adore all of these stamp sets and love how easy they are to mix and match - they totally coordinate so beautifully with all the dies, mixed and matched or in any combination possible!

For my project, I wanted to create something very special for one of my dear dear friends who moved away to Colorado this week :((( (can you hear me crying?!) My friend Ila is more like my sister - she is family and we have been living in the same town for the past 12 years - and when she left town this week - its been absolutely awful - like there is this big hole that is missing! She and my friend Kali and I have always made it a point to get together a couple times a week since we met in college 12 years ago to meet up for coffee at our local coffeeshop... even if it was for 20 minutes... it always made the day perfect! Those quiet moments filled with laughter and joy and just being with each other was something I always looked forward too. Now that Ila has moved away, myself and my friend Kali are putting together a little carepackage to send to her.

I decided to make a little coffee/scrapbook/notebook for her using the cardboard coffee cup cozies that you get at the coffee shop. I covered 4 of the coffee cozies with DP and then decorated them with both the Sip and Savor and Better with You stamp sets. The sides were adhered together and then I made little pockets out of the cozies for little notes and such. Here is the cover:

And here is the first little pocket on the cover that you can pull out - which is a picture of the three of us at our last coffee get together this last week:

Here is the first page when you open it up - the little pockets hold little notes that we are both going to write little messages for our friend.... I love these sentiments and paperpieced the to go coffee cup - and adhered a little grouping of hearts From the Hearts die set: The cup and sentiments are from the Better With You stamp set: Aren't these sentiments just awesome! I love the fonts and sizes and all the fun combinations

Here is a pic of the next page - the coffee cup and sentiment is from the Better With You stamp set and is paper pieced and the steam is done in vellum and I love the sentiment! On the other side, I created a line of to go cups using the little to-go cups from the Sip and Savor Stamp set and used the sentiment from that set: "Treat Yourself"

Here is a closer picture from both pages -
the pocket on one side reveals one of my favorite picture of all of us:

Here is the opposite page - a little pocket of money for her to have a treat in her new hometown. I love this sentiment because we always took turns "treating" each other - I would always laugh when ever I was the one who paid because I seemed to always pay in loose change that I found from the car, the couch, my purse, the glove compartment or anywhere around the house (lol!)- I was originally going to put in some change for her with this sentiment because I knew she would crack up- but since it would probably fall out - I opted for the dollar bills :) I loved making the line of the to-go coffee cups:

Here is a view of the next page - I mixed the Sip and Savor coffee cup and the sentiment: Sip and savor on one side using the hearts from both stamp sets to decorate the notebook:

Here is a view of the same page when the pockets are lifted to reveal more pictures and the sentiment: "Let's Get Together"... I can't wait for our next get together! I am thinking: "roadtrip!" :D

And here is another view of the Coffee Cozy Notebook from a different angle - I love how it turned out - and I can't wait for Kali and I to get together and write our notes and send her a little care package as she begins a new journey in a new town!

I have been so sad and in a little bit of disbelief these last few months that my BFF was really moving away to a different town - and our last few coffee get togethers have been even more sweet and lovely as all of us savored our friendship and our love for each other.  It really was therapeutic to create this little notebook and creating this with these amazing stamps and dies were the perfect way to create a little scrapbook of memories of our times together.

These stamp sets were so much fun to stamp with and mix and match with the super cute heart dies!
I can't wait to see what the amazing Divas have created with this stamp set!!!

You are a genius--I never would have thought to use those. Second, I'm sorry that your friend is moving. I've had so many GREAT friends move over my lifetime, it's really hard. For a while I decided not to even get close to others because they just moved! But that was silly.
