Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks - Day 3 !!!!!!

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Day 3 of Sneak Peeks over at Taylored Expressions, where today we are previewing some amazingly cute and adorable stamp sets being sneaked! - ALONG with some super cute LITTLE designers who are joining us today (more on that to come!!)  We are previewing three super seriously adorable stamp sets: A Little Love, Sweet Friends and and Kid at Heart. All of these will be available on Friday at 8am PST!

The A Little Love stamp set is a mini stamp set that coordinates with the Favor Frame Die and was illustrated by Taylor for the "te" stamp line and is perfect for sweet treats and tags! I altered a Tea Tin using the Valentine's Project Pantry Kit that Taylor will also be releasing tomorrow. I thought that this would be perfect for holding little candy treats and totally love the cuteness of this DP, it was so easy to cut one of the image panels from the DP to attach to the Tea Tin:

The Valentine's Project Pantry Kit along with DP, cardstock, ribbon, brads, heart pins also comes with chipboard - I used the large postage stamp chipboard and embossed it in silver and the inner square I covered it in DP and some ribbon through which I put the Baker's Twine with the tag attached.

The second card that I made uses the Kid at Heart stamp set that I know you are going to fall in love with because of its BEYOND cuteness! This set is perfect for both kids and all the adults who are also kids at heart! This is the perfect stamp set to create homemade Valentine's for classroom exchange - but it is perfect for birthdays, little love notes and just  because cards. I used one of my favorite images from the stamp set - this cute little dinosaur - with the sentiment: "You're Dino-Mite!" LOL!!!! I used the super cute frame in the stamp set that I inked up in red and then cut out and popped up. I created a little scene for the dinosaur to climb up a mountain and added a little sun to the top of the mountain. All the papers in this card and embellishments are from the Valentine's Project Pantry Kit.. I distressed some of the edges of the papers to give it that "dino" feel :)) It was such a fun card to create!

And now for some exciting news!!!

Awhile ago, Taylor asked us if any of our children would like to be part of a Tiny Chefs Design Team to create some samples for the Kids Valentine Card Kit that she has created. My 6 year old son was super excited to create some cards and he was totally beyond excited to get his OWN Kids Valentine Card kit and to use Taylor's stamps (he by the way - thinks that these are his stamp sets and I have to ask him if I can use them! We spent an afternoon crafting and it was so much fun to see him create these cards. Each card kit comes with image panels, cardstock, cut pieces of DP, ribbon and embellishments and envelopes all ready for 20 cards! He created 6 cards in a row and is ready to create more! I tied little bows and attached them to a glue dot for him to use - but other than that - he did the rest! Here is a pic of my Tiny Chef with his 6 cards :)

And here is a closer look at his cards. He made the one with the purple cupcake for his sister because she loves purple! So cute! And I think one of my faves is the turtle image - where he stamped the sentiment upside down :) He was upset that it was upside down - but I told him that it was perfect that way and totally unique too! I think the best part of making these cards with him was getting to craft together - we had so much fun and he totally cracked me up!

I thought that I would make a quick video of him crafting away - so here is a little video that I created of his craft process :) Please excuse my messy craft space - (how can a craft space ever stay clean is my question?) He loved watching this video and wants to make more cards and our 3 year old daughter who didn't really want to do it in  the beginning now wants to make her own cards too!!!

We are planning another craft afternoon this weekend and I can't wait to snap some more pics of my two tiny wee ones stamping!!!

I can't wait to check out all the creations that the Baker's Dozen has created along with all the Tiny Super Cute Chefs that joined in on today's creations!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!
Please stop in tomorrow for Release Day!!
Big hugs,

Verve New Release Spotlights: Day 3

TO THE MOON, SMALLEST THING Plain Jane, EMERY Plain Jane

Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the last day of the Verve New Release Spotlights, where today the spotlight shines on the cutest stamps To the Moon, Smallest Thing (Plain Jane) and Emery(Plain Jane) which have the sweetest sentiments to welcome and celebrate any new baby! Julee will be releasing all of the stamps previewed tomorrow night at the Release Party 9pm EST- so make sure to stop by!

Today - I created a card using a combination of the two Plain Jane stamps - I love this sentiment from the Smallest Thing, that says: "Sometimes, the smallest things take up the most room in your heart" - SO true! It doesn't necessarily have to be for a baby card (although it works perfectly) but can be for any occasion, from Valentine's to Thank you, to Just Because cards. I paired up the sentiment with the super cute little Emery Elephant :) I paper pieced his belly and ears and popped him up on some dimensionals. I also used the Jotted Heart Die that will be released tomrorow also to create the four panels from the Mojo Sketch #171 that I used for this card (and just a wee bit of liquid pearls :)))

 Card Ingredients:
Paper: Alphabet Soup (MME) and PTI cardstock
Stamps: Smallest Things Plain Jane and Emery Plain Jane
Ink: LAdybug Red and Tuxedo Black ink
Dies: Jotted Heart Die from Verve Stamps
Accessories: ribbon from stash, liquid pearls, dimensionals, copics and scalloped rectangles.

I had so much fun creating this card with sweet Emery and can't wait to see all the creations today! We love to celebrate here at Verve, so we've hidden a prize along the hop today!  One lucky commenter on one of the Diva Hop Spots below will receive the stamp set featured today...  Love Notes!  Deadline for commenting is 6PM Mountain on Friday, January 7.  Winners will be announced during our ReLeAsE pArTy that night!

Thanks everyone for stopping by!
Hope you are having a fabulous week!
Big hugs,
Sankari :))

Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks - Day 2!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Day 2 of sneak peeks over at Taylored Expressions, where today the Baker's Dozen will be showing samples from some of the darling-est (that's a word, isn't it? :) stamps that will come in one of the new sizes that Taylor has created called the Petites size. The Petites are made of the highest quality of rubber and are all trimmed and read to go- just like all of Taylor's stamps. They come in sturdy full color storage panels just like the regular stamps and they fit into the binder boxes that Taylor offers to store the regular sized stamp sets. All the Petites shown today will be available on Friday at 8am PST! The ladies are peeking samples from these new cute and adorable Petites: Wreath of Love, Capture my Heart, SWAK and Will You Be Mine stamp sets.

I used the  stamp set and love these Adorable Penguins! SOOO cute! Taylor will also be releasing a new Valentine Project Pantry kit that comes with 20 sheets of Patterned Paper, 12 sheets of cardstock and 5 years of ribbon along with chipboard, brads and sparkly fluff). Everything that I made today uses all the items from the Valentine's Project Pantry kit: I created a little mini gift set with a candy pail you can fill with chocolates, mints or sweet little valentine hearts - I thought that this would be so sweet as a teacher's gift.

Here is a closer peek at the card  - I LOVE the heart pins that come with the Project Pantry kit - I put them against some of the hearts that I cut out of the DP and they kinda look like heart balloons :) I love this sentiment and stamped the cute little Penguins inside the Frame it UP stamp and die that will be released on Friday:

Here is a closer peek at the candy pail - I put the decorated panel inside the pail and then on the top using the chipboard that came with the project pantry kit - I embossed the chipboard in gold and silver and then popped them on the top with a bit of dimensionals. I finished it off with some liquid pearls (I didn't have any candy to put in it yet - thank goodness - because trust me they would be gone by the time this blog was written :)))

I can't wait to see what the girls have created today with all the cute Petites!!! Please hop on over with me and check out their sweeeet creations!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hope to see you tomorrow for Day 3 of Sneak Peeks!
Big hugs!

Verve New Release Spotlights Day 2

LOVE NOTES

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Verve New Release Spotlights, where today we are featuring the stamp set: Love Notes that I know you will fall in love with - they are filled with such a perfect combination of sentiments that you have always wanted and the sweetest stamp images that coordinates with the dies that Julee will be releasing!

I made this card for my DH - as soon as I saw the You + Me sentiment - I knew it was for him - because I remember writing that in the sand when we were first dating :) and I love the combination of sentiments - the "you + Me always" with the sentiment " together forever" :) I created a border of xoxoxo's in the background and love that the stamped image of the Classy Label Die has dotted lines and it was fun to stamp the sentiment ontop of it. I created a little frame with the ruffled ribbons and then attached the little stamped hearts to the corners. Using the large Jotted Heart Die I layered that first and then added some hearts ontop of it and finished it off with just a wee bit of liquid pearls on the scalloped border:

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Love Notes from Verve StampsPaper: We R Memory Keepers (DP) and PTI (Cardstock)Ink: Ladybug Red Memento and Tuxedo Black ink from Memento Dies: Jotted Heart Die and Classy Label Die from Verve StampsAccessories: ruffled ribbon, bling, epoxy hearts, dimensionals, heart punch, white gel pen, EK success punch and red lined tape.

I was so excited to create another project with this stamp set, especially with the sentiment: "I love you to the Moon and Back". I stamped the sentiment in the classy label die and used the heart stamped image with the dotted lines to use as a journaling tag. I wanted to create a little framed scrapbook page with my wee ones with this sentiment - because we say this to each other at bedtime (although, our kids try to out do each other by telling us that they love us not just to the Moon but to Jupiter and back!). I added a wee bit of blue wash to the photo so that it would bring out the blue in the DP :
Card Ingredients:Stamps: To the Moon by Verve Stamps
Paper: :October Afternoon DP
Ink: Memento: Tuxedo Black ink
Accessories: red ribbon from stash, EK scalloped punch, liquid pearls, dimensionals, copics and bling. Shadowbox frame in black.

I totally loved creating these projects from this awesome and fun stamp set and it was so much fun to create a little page of my wee ones :) This stamp set is seriously FILLED to the Brim with awesome and perfect sentimetnts! Check out what the Divas created with this awesome stamp set and don't forget: We love to celebrate here at Verve, so we've hidden a prize along the hop today!  One lucky commenter on one of the Diva Hop Spots below will receive all of the sets and dies featured today...  Swirling Hearts, Sweet Treats, Classy Label Die, Jotted Heart Die and the Embossed Oval Die!  Deadline for commenting is 6PM Mountain on Friday, January 7.  Winners will be announced during our ReLeAsE pArTy that night! Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks - Day 1

Hi Everyone!

Its release week over at Taylored Expressions and this week and let me tell you - this release just about has knocked off my socks with its amazing awesomeness! Taylor will be releasing a TON of new stamps, dies and a special project pantry on Friday at 8am PST - so get ready for a week of fun sneak peeks! Today  the Baker's Dozen will be previewing two new stamp sets that Taylor will be releasing - one is called New Beginnings and the second is called Rest & Renewal (I love how these two sets coordinate with each other!) along  with some awesome new dies (yay!) one called the Frame it Up die (yay!) and the second are a trio of butterfly dies (yay!).

Today, I am showing you some projects created with the New Beginnings stamp set which I was excited to concept and even more excited to see transformed into actual rubber! Taylor designed this stamp set and it is part of the "te" collection and I can't even tell you how much I have loved to work with this set! I love the start of a new year - and the feeling of freshness that it offers. I love the sentiments in here because they are so encouraging and positive. They can be used for giving a friend who is going through a hard time some encouragement, they are wonderful for creating a journal (especially about goals and new beginnings), awesome for scrapbooking and the roses and butterflies in this set are my faveeeeee! This stamp set has 13 rubber images which includes: 4 awesome quotes and 2 title sentiments, there are 3 butterflies in this set that match the butterfly dies (yay!) and there are two gorgeous roses - one that is solid - so all you have to do is ink it up and there is one that is an outline - so you can color it or paper piece it. There is also a large frame image that is 2.75" x 4" which coordinates with the Frame it Up die (yay!).

For my first project, I thought I would start with a little gift for me - from me :))) LOL! I wanted to create this for the new year - not only to write my goals for the year - but to journal more. With my kids and running to work and home - its hard for me to journal - so I decorated a small journal that I can keep in my purse and write in as I wait for the kids at school.

I love the size of the frame because it is larger and can fit both larger sentiments and flower images and it is so nice to have a larger frame stamp that you can use for the front of a journal. This die also works beautifully and coordinates with the Rest and Renewal stamp set that you will see peeked from some of the Baker's Dozen DT. The trio of butterflies are awesome that they coordinate with the stamps in the New Beginnings set, but also because you can use them to cut out felt, DP, vellum, etc! (yay!)

For my next card, I wanted to use one of my fave quotes - it is sooo inspiring - I used the sentiment and kept the frame vertical and then inked the solid roses and matched it with the Leafy Branch die from Taylor's store.  There is something so encouraging after reading this quote and sometimes when I feel overwhelmed or when there are more clouds than sunshine in my life - it is so nice to read this quote and know that I can create the life I want - I just have to dream it and then go for it - and why not aim for the highest of whatever it is that you want - I love the feeling of this sentiment and its such a great sentiment to give to someone else who might be having a hard time - or even for a college or highschool graduate - to inspire them as the head for the next step in their life's journey :) I love how the butterfly dies go with the stamp set and also how you can just use them on their own. The littlest butterfly is cut using the small butterfly die:
For my last card, I used another gorgeous sentiment for the new year and added a wee bit of glitter to the roses with a little bit of ruffled ribbon and liquid pearls. I love this sentiment - and love all the possibilites that are waiting ahead this year!

Here is a picture of all three projects together:

I can't tell you how much fun I had creating these projects and it was so quick with the dies (If you're not familiar with Taylored Dies you learn more about them HERE).! I can't wait to see what beautiful creations the girls have created with all of the stamps that are being peeked today!!!

Please check them out here:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Stop on back tomorrow for Day 2 of sneak peeks!!

Verve New Release Spotlights Day 1

Swirling Hearts, Sweet Treats, new dies

Hi Everyone!

I just realized that this is my first post of the New Year! Happy New Year everyone! Sorry to be MIA - I started off the New Year with a stomach flu -not a fun way to start off the new year! The real way to start off the new year is with some awesome new stamps that Julee will be releasing from Verve stamps this Friday! Today, we are kicking off the New Release Spotlights from Verve with sneak peeks from 2 new stamp sets: Swirling Hearts and Sweet Treats and some AWESOME new dies!!! Holla!

Julee has created awesome stamp sets with beautiful stamps that also coordinate with some awesome new dies! One of the dies is this awesome heart die (which will coordinate with a stamp set that will be peeked later this week!) I created this card using the stamp set Swirling Hearts, which coordinates with the Vintage Oval Die. I stamped the die image with some different inks and then cut it out with the die and cut out the center of the image and popped it up over the sentiment: "Be Mine". I cut out the hearts with the new Jotted Heart Die from Verve and after dotting it with some liquid pearls I placed them here and there. I love all the papers from the Be Mine collection from EP and loved this DP with the post card :) I finished it off with a bit of sewing and a wee bit of bling :)

Card Ingredients:
Paper: Cardstock: Bazzil and DP: EP's Be Mine
Stamps: Verve Stamps: Swirling Hearts
Ink: RoseRed Memento Ink and Tuxedo Black
Accessories: dimensionals, bling, sew easy, white gel pen, ribbon from stash, corner chomper and liquid pearls.
