Kristina Werner Color Inspiration Challenge #24 - Happy Halloween!

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Happy Friday!

I can't even tell you how happy I am that today is Friday! Sorry for being MIA this week - I got hit with a case of some sort of stomach flu or food poisoning and was camped out on the couch for a couple of days  -- but there one of the best remedies is a KW Color Inspiration Challenge.

What a yummy and delicious color challenge (I think my appetite is coming back :) and so in honor of things yummy and delicious - I thought of some fun spooky sweets for a Halloween card.

Aren't these Halloween cupcakes the cutest ever! They just make  me smile .... and they also make me hungry for some homemade cupcakes. The cupcakes are all paper pieced and then popped out with dimensionals. I was kinda cleaning my little corner and found some dimensionals tucked away on the side of a bookshelf and so I was pysched to use them! I totally need to get a handle on this craft corner.... it is no longer a corner but a sea of ribbon, paper and stamps ... sigh... I think I need a bigger corner - or maybe like 4 corners!

So what are your weekend plans? Our plans involve a few parties, some laundry, an artwalk, a pumpkin fest, a date night where I don't make a card during our date (LOL! :) and a few walks in the park with the kids to pick some pretty fall leaves.... Yay! for Friday!

I have the afternoon off today (yay!!) so I am off to run some errands with the wee ones :)

Thanks for coming over for a visit!
Hope your weekend is wonderful!
Ciao for now,
Sankari :)

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Taylored Expressions
Paper: Paper Company brown, vanilla cardstock, and the orange and brown are from scrap basket
Ink: Martha Brown
Accessories: brads, glaze, dimensionals, ribbon (offray),
Movies watched: Ironman (doesn't it still count as date night if you are watching a movie with your husband while you make a card???)

I love what you created with Taylor's stamps. Very cute! I agree, you need 4 corners (a studio), not just 1 corner. Glad you're feeling better. I have heard of a stomach bug going around.

I saw your tri-fold card was shown on Card of the Week. Congrats.

Hi Sankari! I'm so sorry to hear you were sick! I hope you feel well soon!!! I love these Halloween cupcakes, it is such a pity that we don't celebrate Halloween in Germany, so I won't find any serious reason why I must have these cute stamps, too! Have a wonderful weekend! Love, Christiane
