Hi Everyone,
I have been loving all the new Verve stamps that Julee has created for the October Release - and today's stamp set that the Verve Divas will be previewing is one of my favorite - it is called Autumn Splendor and its definitely a must have! The leaves in this stamp set are so awesome and there is every kind of leaf both filled and not filled and large and small and is perfect for making a quick card!
I really wanted to make a wreath out of all those leaves (it was so therapeutic to cut out the leaves :) I paper pieced some of the leaves with some fallish DP and then I colored some of them in. I made a circle base with my circle nesties and then curled and placed the leaves over the circle. The bottom of the wreath was finished off with a little bow from May Arts. I popped up the wreath with some dimensionals:

I had a hard time choosing which sentiment - because they are all so sweet - but I had to go with Autumn Splendor because that is really what Autumn is - splenderifious!
I remember walking down the street back out East in the Autumn and just loving the colors of fall as colors changed from summer green to gorgeous reds, yellows and purples - so so lovely! There was one street that was lined with maples and so anytime you would walk down the street and looked up - there was an archway of golden light - so magical! I love this sentiment - it just reminds me of my childhood :)

I love the glaze you added to the leaves. It really sparkles like the sunlight hitting the leaves as you walk beneath them.
How incredible is this card!!! I love the distressed stripe embossing behind the wreath. It adds great texture and makes the wreath pop.

What a pretty way to do the leaves! It reminds me of putting fallen leaves between wax paper to preserve them... I love fall!

WOW! Sankari, this card must have taken you forever! From all the cutting of each individual leaf, and then making them glossy and arranging them perfectly - WOW! I love all the bright colors you used too. This looks fantastic!

Rich, rich fall colors, and a great card! Stamping IS great therapy, but probably not cheaper in the long run than a psychiatrist's visit, esp. as now I have to have these stamps! ;P
