Taylored Expressions Sneak Peeks Day 2: Calla Lily Bouquet and At the Cross 2

Hi Everyone!

Happy February!! Today is the second day of sneek peeks of the TE release of February 2015! This release is full of springy, sunshiney, easter packed lovelly sneak peeks with all the fun new stamps, dies, paper packs and matched kits from Taylored Expressions which will be available for your crafting pleasure on Thursday morning - Feb 5th at 7amPST!!

Today, I created two projects using some awesome new dies! The first is the Calla Lilly Bouquet die that coordinates with the previously released Calla Lilly Bouquet stamp set! This is an amazing die - the way it cuts all the intricate ins and outs of these beautiful flowers in the vase in this stamp set is so wonderful!! I loved stamping and cutting these stamps out with these dies and created a set of three cards using the sentiment from the stamp set: "Forever and Always". I used the soon to be released Dotted Lattice embossing folder to add a little fun design and texture to these cards - it really adds such a lovely elegant look to your project! Love how they turned out:

Here is a pic of the stamped image and how I colored the image using my Prisma Color pencils - love the soft look this created!

After stamping and coloring them in - I die cut it out using the Calla Lily Bouquet die and then adhered them on the Dotted Lattice embossed card mat that I then popped up on the card front with some foam dimensional tape - here is a peek at the three cards that I created for this cardset:

After adhering the cards and sentiments - I added some stickles to the center of the flower and some gloss to the flowers and vase to give it some shine and glaze :) - Here is a close up how wonderfully this die cuts this beautiful stamp set:

Card Ingredients:
Stamps: Calla Lily Bouquet from Taylored Expressions
Papers: Sugar Cube, Peapod and Granny Smith cardstock from TE
Inks: Bahama and Tuxedo Black (Memento)
Accessories: Calla Lily Bouquet Die, Dotted Lace emobssing folder, pearls, corner rounder, foam dimensionals, copics, glaze and stickles

For my second project, I created a card using two new products that will be released on Thursday - one is this awesome embossing folder called: Walking on Sunshine and the second one is this beautiful die called: At The Cross 2 - which has stained glass cuts that makes it so easy to create a beautiful multidimensional cross:

I thought it would be so lovely to create a morning sunshine card of the sun rising as Jesus rose - so I named this card "He is Risen" and created a little scene using the Rolling Hills dies and the Rolling Clouds dies along with creating a morning sunshine sky with the Clouds Border die with the embossed Walking Sunshine folder. I added papers from the TE: For Peep's Sake designer paper pack for the grass and also added the chevron designer paper for the back of the cross to create a stained glass look:

Card Ingredients:
Paper: Matched Kit: For Peep's Sake (Taylored Expressions) for the grass and the designer paper behind the cross and gold paper for the cross

Ink: Canteloupe inkpad from Memento Inks
Taylored Dies: At the Corss 2, Rolling Clouds die, Build A Scene: Rolling Hills die and Walking on Sunshine Embossing Folder
Accessories: Corner Chomper, MS grass punch, circle punch

I loved creating these cards and using all this beautiful crafting goodness from TE and can't wait to see all the wonderful creations created by this amazing team!!

Gorgeous cards! Your coloring is impeccable and I love how you used chevron paper to create the stained glass effect - such a great idea!
