Hey everyone,
Sorry to be MIA this week - I really can't believe how fast this week has gone --- and I still have so much to do...! I started teaching and so the work load has increased a little... but there is always time for a little KW color inspiration challenge.
This week's challenge was from a picture that Kristina took of her wreath... the orange and yellow colors with the purple reminded me of a sunset... the colors just felt so warm and cozy and so, I created a little sunset amongst the grass.
This month's theme at PaperCraftPlanet is gratitude - and so after creating this sunset... I went with the sentiment: "Bountiful Thanks" because this time of year we celebrate the bounty of the harvest, of friends and of all of life's blessings....
This week has been a rough one in terms of wanting to do so much and not having enough time to do it....and in making this card - I am just reminded of all the moments that nourish the heart and have sustained me through the crazy work week.... my daughter holding my hand, my son's wet kisses, my husband's coming home hugs, talking to my friends, reconnecting with old friends and laughing with family and friends...
I will have to post the deets later since, I am doing this while things are cooking on the stove and want to get this in to Kristina's deadline before things get too crazy around here....
Hope all are well and can't wait to check out everyone's blog soon -- sorry for being MIA and for being such a bad blogger friend -- you guys are just the best!!!
Ciao for now,
Off to stir the veggies!
Sankari :)
