Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #54 - Finding Nemo and Yummy Blog Candy :)

Good Morning Everyone!!!

This week over at Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge, we have a special guest designer: Taylor VanBruggen!!! And her pick for this week's movie is: Finding Nemo! Taylor is offering AWESOME blog candy this week: YOUR choice of any of the new stamp sets for the holidays that were just released!!! Thank you Taylor!

Taylor has also given us a color challenge - here are the colors for this movie:

I am so excited to play along for this challenge - I love this movie but I was really stumped for what to make and then I thought about the different themes of the movie: father/son, friendship, finding courage, letting go etc. and the one theme that I loved was just the essence of the father and son relationship that through everything their love was for "always". Marlin's adventure to find his son Nemo is so amazing and inspirational - that no matter what the odds, you will do anything and overcome anything for love! I was inspired by the journey and so I created a card with little fishes jumping out of the ocean with the words "me and you - always" for the sentiment.

ALL the papers for this card are DIGITAL!!! woot!!! I absolutely LOVE the Sweet Shoppe Designs store and the AMAZing variety of their digital kits - love it!!! I made this card using the Under the Sea kit from Krystal Hartley and the blue frame is from Ocean Side by Melissa Bennett. I created the elements in photoshop and then printed it out and cut out and doubled up the images:

here is a closer peek of the fishes :) aren't those fishes just the cutest :)

Card Details:
Digital Items are from the Sweet Shoppe Designs: Frame is from Ocean Side by Melissa Bennett and all the papers, fishes, waves, background are from the Under the Sea kit from Krystal Hartley
NonDigital items: EK success punch, Kaiser offshore rubon, circle punch, bling, liquid pearls, stickles, ribbon from stash and dimensionals

I had so much fun playing along. A huge thank you to Taylor for the yummy blog candy and for being our guest designer! Please check out the Cinema Saturday blog for more details on how to score some delicious holiday boooooty!!! Woot!
Big hugs!
See you at the movies!
Sankari :)
