May Blast from the Past Hop: #1 Dad

Hi Everyone!

It's time for another Blast From the Past blog hop from Taylored Expressions - where every month - there is a blog hop for all Taylored Expressions fans - where you can sign up to create something with previously released stamp sets! This month's theme is to go masculine :) And can I just tell you HOW hard it was not to put a ton of bling and ribbon and swirls and whirls on this card :)) It kept feeling like something was missing :)
But I tried to keep it simple - and made a card for my dearest father who simply is the best of the best  - he is my best friend - and I simply have no words to express my love, admiration and deepest gratitude for him - he is truly the best dad ever! :) So I had to use that sentiment from the Boys Will be Boys stamp set - and paired it along with the papers from CC and used the sketch for this month's BFTP hop :)

Card Ingredients:
Paper: Salt Air from Cosmo Cricket and kraft
Stamps:  Boys Will be Boys stamp set from Taylored Expressions
Ink: Memento
Accessories: circle nesties, ribbon tag trio 3, brads (screws), liquid pearls, ribbon from stash and dimensionals.

I love how this card turned out - and I can't wait to send this to my dad! I love how quick and simple and fast it was to make this card - just quick paper piecing and adding the sentiments. It felt so good to make this card to honor my dad - and can't wait to make a few more to honor my FIL and DH :)

Please check out what all the wonderful designers have created for this special hop and make sure to sign up for the next one! You can check out all the details here!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Sankari :)
