Hop(e) for Haiti - Skipping Stones Blog Hop

Good Morning everyone,

I am so beyond honored to be part of this amazing blog hop called Hop(e) for Haiti that is being organized by Skipping Stones Design. If you happened across my blog today (thank you!) you'll want to start at the beginning of the blog hop at Skipping Stone's Design!

This lovely company wanted to do something to give back to the people who have been devastated by the Haitain Earthquake. They have invited us to join them in this cause. Each card you see on the blog hop will be auctioned off on e-bay, with all the proceeds going to the Red Cross in support of the Haitian Relief Effort (please check out the link at the Skipping Stones Design website for the link to the auction).

100% of the proceeds of the e-bay Auction and $2.00 from every stamp set purchased from February 16-22 will be donated to the Red Cross.
We know that we can make a difference.

I loved playing with the super sweet stamp set Chocolate #1 - seriously these sentiments are a must have for all chocolate lovers or friends of choco-holics :) -

Here is a card called: I'm Not a Quitter
Card Ingredients:
Paper: Prism cardstock and Reminisce DP
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: circle punches, scallop punch, crimper, dimensionals, adirondack liquid pearls, glaze, dimensionals, gel pen, eyelet, sponger, MS lace punch
Size: A2

I love all of the sentiments and images in the stamp set: Funny Coffee Vol.#1. I thought it would be fun to create a card that was like a to-go coffee cup. I drew it out on an A2 size card and then cut it out and paper pieced it and added the sentiment: Happy Birthday (a little latte) - LOL!!! I love this sentiment - and I should make a 100 of these cards because it seems that I am always a little latte in sending out birthday cards... :)

Here is a side view of the card:

Card Ingredients:
Paper: White, black and kraft carstock
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: crimper, sponger, sakura micro black pen and glaze pen, spellbinders
Size: A2

I couldn't put this set down :) So I kept going and made some cards that were 4x4 with the same layout with the super cute to go coffee cup, but each having a different sentiment inside:

Card Ingredients:
Paper: Prism cardstock, Basic Grey Mellow DP
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa and Cottage Ivy
Accessories: spellbinders, circle punch, corner rounder, glimmer ribbon, glaze pen, dimensionals and bling.
Size: 4x4

Here is an individual picture of each one. Here is the card: "Hope your birthday is good to the last drop"

Here is the card: "Just wanted to Expresso my Gratitude":

And lastly - my most favorite sentiment of all: "They should just call it crack." LOL!!! I love the little Star with a Buck running through it - and this sentiment is simply SO hilarious in describing the Starbuck addiction:

There is a ton of yummy crafted goodness in this blog hop! Check out this amazing roster of crafters who have all come together for this cause:

How about a prize? In addition to the fabulous eye candy, we have decided to hide a prize somewhere along the hop! There will be a few pre-release sets up for grabs hidden along the blog hop. The fun part is...we're not telling you who it is! So as you hop, make sure you leave comments on every post so you have a chance to win!!

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!! Hop on over to Laurie Schmidllin to see her amazing creativity!!! If there is a break somewhere along the way, there will be a masterlist of all the blogs participating in the hop over at Skipping Stones Design or at Sparkle and Bling!!!

This is such a wonderful Hop(e) for Haiti - and I feel so honored to be part of this!

Have a wonderful day!

Big hugs!

Sankari :)
